On the blotter it seemed interesting, but on the skin... it's just a nightmare - it reminds me of something for insect repellent, you can't describe it any other way. On paper it sounded more or less okay, but in reality... well, Brocard is Brocard, a real roulette. If Murano sounds pretty good, then this fragrance... is just not it

This fragrance certainly isn't the worst in the whole line, but it's not worth overrating. A garden after the rain? Yeah, maybe it smells fresh, but it's not all that impressive. Jasmine and orange? Sounds good, but in reality it's just an ordinary scent that quickly gets boring. Beautiful and airy? Nah, I don't buy it. I don't know if it's worth getting for spring and summer when there are much more interesting options

For those visiting Italy for the first time, siesta can be a real challenge - hunger in the middle of the day is not uncommon. But for those already familiar with the traditions of hot countries, this time is an opportunity to simply stop and slowly enjoy the moment. I remember how we, tired and hungry, looked for shade on summer terraces or coolness in restaurants. We often found ourselves in front of closed doors - siesta. Tourist establishments, of course, don't always follow traditions and try to please their guests, but we usually crave authentic cuisine, so we patiently wait, dreaming of a glass of cold prosecco and perfect pasta with basil.

Siesta evokes vivid memories for me. Italy really smells like this - sunny days, greenery, jasmine, and white musk. These aren't just natural aromas - Italians adore perfumery and seem to fill the air around them themselves. Neroli here doesn't have a soapy tint, petitgrain doesn't cause sadness, and white musk is a traditional Italian scent that I've only encountered here. But the main thing is jasmine. It's not sweet, snow-white, fresh, like after rain, without fruity notes, and seems real, not resembling laundry detergent. This sensation arises thanks to an indole note that appears after some time. Even the indole here is clean and not off-putting. Such a fragrance can be found in narrow streets where old houses stand.

It's strange to realize that this is a mass-market perfume. But I can't help but note that Siesta could belong to any niche brand and cost many times more. In that case, I would just shrug and say I'm not interested. But now, in this context, it's really surprisingly good

My opinion on it constantly changes. I'm thrilled with it, but here's the problem - it doesn't like heat. If you apply it to the skin when it's damp from the heat, something strange starts to happen. The musk becomes too obvious, and the animalic notes are just overwhelming. It reminds me of the smell of raw hides, like in childhood. When I felt that on myself, I got a little scared, and the jasmine became sharp and unpleasant. I put the bottle away, decided to wait for autumn - it's at least somewhat pleasing during that time

Now is exactly the moment when Siesta reveals itself in all its glory. First, you feel a bright neroli, and then it smoothly transitions into sweet notes of orange peel and tree bark. Its longevity, by the way, is quite on par with a good luxury cologne. All in all, it's worth a try, you won't regret it!

The scent is okay, of course, but nothing special. Green notes with citrus and white flowers - that's all been done before. It develops, yes, but not in a way that truly excites. It's refreshing, but for summer, it's only suitable for those who don't know what else to pick. Longevity - that's a whole other story, it's a bit weak, as if something's missing. You'll have to reapply constantly, and for that kind of money, they could have done better

This fragrance turned out to be a real disappointment for me. Orange and jasmine mixed in such a way that it created some unpleasant chemical smell that makes your teeth ache. I don't smell any herbal notes at all, as if it's just one single scent. It's very heavy, but luckily, not long-lasting. I hope it suits someone else better than it suits me ))

The fragrance is truly warm and Italian, creating the feeling of a sunny day. Bright ylang and joyful orange blossom give it a special freshness, and a light musk adds depth. Even though I'm not a fan of orange blossom, this scent doesn't cause repulsion. At first, I didn't want to buy it at all, I heard so much from bloggers, but I already had Murano and Gelato, and they didn't work for me. And then, in Yalta, in some little shop, I grabbed it for 370 rubles, without even looking. And, damn, I really liked it! This fragrance can definitely be worn around people. In summer, autumn, winter - I felt comfortable in it. Very light and pleasant. The scent is like opulent jasmine, maybe slightly damp, with a lemon hint. Cool, natural, bright - it smells like it costs much more! 🌸
