It belongs to the Spicy and Oriental families, immediately setting the tone for a mysterious and sensual journey.

Composition: A Play of Contrasts

The Black Saffron fragrance is built on the contrast of bright citrus and spicy notes with delicate floral and woody chords.

In its composition, elements from the Citrus, Spicy, Floral, Leather, Fruity, Musk, and Woody groups intertwine, creating a multifaceted and memorable image.

How to Wear Black Saffron

Thanks to its medium trail, this fragrance is not intrusive but expressive enough to leave a mark.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

After application, the fragrance really delights: you can feel raspberry, saffron, and leather. A sweet-spicy, slightly smoky raspberry envelops you, but by midday, it all comes down to a simple raspberry scent. It smells natural, without chemical notes, but, to be honest, quite boring. Considering it's a niche perfume, I expected more

What an interesting fragrance! This is indeed another variation that touches on leather with raspberry. It reminds me of Tuscan Leather by TF, but seems a bit lighter. The impression it leaves is quite fresh and unusual

Comparisons to Ford's Tuscan Leather, honestly, aren't entirely clear to me. I don't see any similarities. The saffron here is truly fresh and invigorating, which is pleasing. But Tuscan leather, in my opinion, has a sweeter and rougher character, which makes it sexy. I really liked the saffron; I generally adore leather notes in perfumery, so I couldn't miss this fragrance. If we talk about notes, I didn't catch raspberry, nor did the leather note stand out. Overall, the composition smells pleasant and harmonious. But, unfortunately, the fragrance doesn't last long on me

In this fragrance, saffron looks simply gorgeous, but the flowers somehow don't save it. The oriental style isn't very noticeable here, but the European touch is clearly striking. There are more interesting options in the line, this one isn't the most outstanding

First, tobacco notes with fruits are felt, then saffron and raspberry, as if bright and clear, but soon all of this transitions into a leathery, soft, yet harsh and bitter atmosphere. This fragrance leaves a deep impression, but there's something sad and oppressive about it 😔

The scent of leather is definitely present here, but it's not too aggressive, rather rich and expressive. The main notes are raspberry and leather, with a hint of juniper and floral accents. The fragrance is truly beautiful, unfolding quite softly 🌸

The fragrance is beautiful, of course, but what's with this nonsense about spicy leather and raspberry? Powder has no place here at all, and the woody base... well, I don't know, it's somehow unimpressive. Charismatic? Don't make me laugh! Quality might be there, but longevity and sillage aren't always a plus. All in all, I don't understand what everyone sees in it

This is Tuscan Leather by TF, and I was in shock. The scents are really similar. If someone is looking for something more affordable, Byredo would be a great option. Pay attention to this alternative, it's worth its money

The fragrance is too spicy for me. It's like it overwhelms all other notes, leaving only leather and woody scents. I feel like it doesn't suit me at all. It's a disappointment 😔

I don't know what everyone sees in this Byredo. Black Saffron? Oh come on, it's just another attempt to grab attention. Spicy-berry? More like spicy-oppressive. No restraint, just obtrusiveness. Aristocratic? Doubtful, more like just an attempt to look better than it actually is. Saffron, leather, and raspberry? Sounds like a random assortment of ingredients, not harmony. A velvety feel? No, more like some kind of heaviness that weighs you down. I don't understand how anyone can give this perfume a 10 out of 10, it's just unbearable 😒

The fragrance is truly delightful, it's elegant and restrained. The saffron here is piquant but not intrusive, and the leather and raspberry add pleasant nuances. Sometimes you can catch a slight tartness of pine needles, but that doesn't happen often. Overall, the fragrance sparks interest and a desire to try it 🌟

The fragrance is truly interesting and multi-layered. At first, you feel a freshness that pleasantly surprises you. Raspberry plays the main role here, but alongside it, there's a leathery nuance and a bit of saffron. Floral notes add lightness, creating an interesting contrast. In this perfume, the sweetness isn't intrusive, and the bitterness, on the contrary, perfectly complements the overall picture. Overall, it evokes many emotions and leaves a mysterious aftertaste

The fragrance is really impressive. At first, you feel a cold saffron that quickly transitions into raspberry with suede. This raspberry isn't like usual; it's very natural, as if sun-dried, which gives it sweetness, but the tartness still remains. The suede reminds you of a new item, like you just bought a handbag or gloves.

Sometimes you can catch notes similar to Ford's White Suede. Cashmere adds to this feeling of softness.

What I like about Black Saffron is that the saffron smells soft and minimalistic, like a European fragrance. Scents with a ton of spices have become quite tiresome, so this is refreshing. Personally, for me, it has something of a 2000s lipstick, with a delicate raspberry-violet scent. The longevity of the fragrance is good, although the sillage isn't too strong; rather, it envelops you. One spray can fill a room, and clothes after it are better washed, otherwise they overpower other scents.

The only thing that bothers me is the decant, which seems to be from a new bottle. I've read reviews that older versions were more leathery, and that stops me from buying a large volume, as I don't know which one I'll get. This fragrance is on the edge, and if you add a bit of volume, it could resemble a Scandinavian version of Tuscan Leather. Overall, yes, it's mainstream, but it smells high-quality and expensive, in a good way. I respect the Swedes, Byredo and Agonist, for their interesting compositions and wearability 🌸

The fragrance opens with bright notes of saffron, juniper, and suede. Gradually, saffron fades into the background, replaced by raspberry with spicy accents. The base retains pure raspberry, which smells very natural. Spices and suede balance perfectly, preventing the fragrance from turning into a sweet compote. This is a truly interesting and beautiful scent with a wonderful sillage that lasts quite a long time, especially on clothes. It's perfect for winter ))

I admit, I used to say I didn't smell raspberry. But then, I met a friend I sold this perfume to. She came over, and I recognized it right away. On her, it developed completely differently. Yes, the raspberry is definitely there, but it still lacks depth
