Description of the composition

The scent of Aramis Black is shaped as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Aramis is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette sets the right density and pace of development.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Leather, Spicy and Alcoholic expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In the first seconds you detect smoky-balsamic top notes: Elemi, Grapefruit and Mastic Tree.

In the middle phase you notice Cognac, Juniper and Leather accord holding a rum-spicy direction.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Balsamic, Citrus, Drinks and Wood. The palette also extends to Leather and Spicy. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Fern and Leather.

Upon first acquaintance with this fragrance, you can really feel something special that makes you ponder. It creates an atmosphere reminiscent of niche perfumes, and it sounds exactly like that. Personally, I was a bit wary, as for me it's too resinous and at the same time strange, but there's an intrigue to it!!
