Atelier Cologne Blanche Immortelle: Unforgettable Elegance

Imagine a fragrance that, like a ray of sunlight piercing through the morning mist, gives a feeling of purity and eternity.

This is exactly what Blanche Immortelle from the niche French brand Atelier Cologne, released in 2014, is like.

This unisex masterpiece is part of the prestigious Atelier Cologne Haute Couture collection, reflecting the brand's philosophy, founded by spouses Christophe Cervasel, who reinterpreted the classic cologne by adding longevity and depth to it.

Atelier Cologne is renowned for its fresh yet long-lasting compositions, and Blanche Immortelle is a shining example, combining airy lightness and sensual warmth.

Positioning and Application Practice

Blanche Immortelle is positioned as a unisex fragrance, making it an ideal choice for those who value flexibility and individuality.

Its concentration is Eau de Cologne, but don't be fooled by the name: thanks to the perfumer's skill, it has a medium trail that elegantly follows you without overwhelming the space.

For optimal effect, it is recommended to apply 1 to 2 sprays on clothing, which will allow the notes to unfold gradually and last throughout the day.

This fragrance is perfect for spring and summer days, as well as for special occasions where a light but memorable aura is required.

Authorship and Influence on the Brand

Behind the creation of Blanche Immortelle is the talented perfumer Jérôme Epinette, known for his exquisite and balanced compositions for many niche brands.

His work on this fragrance highlights Atelier Cologne's commitment to innovation within traditions, adding a note of refined naturalness to the Haute Couture collection.

Blanche Immortelle has strengthened the brand's reputation as a creator of universal and emotional perfumes that resonate with a wide audience.

The composition of Blanche Immortelle begins with a sparkling top note, where Calabrian Bergamot and Mandarin offer a juicy citrus freshness, complemented by the delicate floral hue of Mimosa.

In the heart of the fragrance, an exciting duet of Immortelle unfolds, bringing warm spicy sweetness, and the white floral notes of Jasmine Sambac and Tuberose, adding creamy richness and sensuality.

The base, meanwhile, wraps you in a cozy woody blanket, where Patchouli, Sandalwood, and Vetiver create a stable and earthy finish, making the fragrance multifaceted and memorable.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The scent is warm and spicy, but the dry herbs note is too bright, even a bit bitter. On my husband, it opens up better, seems more harmonious, but on me, it's somehow harsh. Longevity is good, the sillage is noticeable too ))

The scent is just incredible! It's so warm and cozy, perfect for cold days. You can clearly smell the sandalwood and immortelle, and jasmine adds a light touch. A real find for lovers of rich fragrances

The fragrance really impresses with its elegance. White flowers create a sense of sophistication, and fresh citrus notes give it lightness. At the same time, the woody base with patchouli adds a certain strictness and depth. Overall, this combination makes it very appealing

I read reviews and I'm shocked - are we talking about the same thing? My feelings match the English Fragrantica. I bought a gift set: 200 ml and 30 ml. Both are heavy. The fragrance is warm, sweet, spicy, monotonous: maple syrup, pumpkin pie, whipped cream, vanilla. Sweet, warm, makes me want an appetite and coffee. Ideal for winter and autumn. Longevity is amazing: sprayed on wrist - lasts more than a day, even washed hands. Warm spicy gourmand, specific

The scent is truly perplexing. First, you get something like a salty pickle, then a skin care cream pops up. Such a stark contrast, I can't recommend it without trying it first

Didn't think to test it on a blotter beforehand, just sprayed it straight on my skin. Who even said this brand's fragrances aren't long-lasting? You definitely have to try this one, it haunted me for half the day. Unfortunately, at first it was tempting with mandarins and flowers, but then bitterness with patchouli came through. Didn't check the pyramid before testing, but I recognized that scent about half an hour after applying. This is not for me. Had to wash it off at home

The fragrance starts with mandarin, then delicate mimosa and bergamot create a refreshing feeling. But then rose appears, and it all wraps into notes of jasmine, immortelle. Iris, patchouli, vetiver, and sandalwood add depth, but in the end, there's only sadness that it can't all be brought back ))

What a damn cozy scent! Tuberose and jasmine here are simply gorgeous, and sandalwood adds such an interesting, slightly rough edge. A touch of mimosa and citrus give it freshness, but not too overpowering. Overall, the fragrance is very calm and soothing, like it hugs and protects you

How interesting to experience such an approach to tuberose and jasmine. Here, there's dry powder and citrus notes, and in the sillage, a light greenish florality emerges. Honestly, I even liked it

The scent is really pleasant, creating an atmosphere of coziness and warmth. It features citrus notes, jasmine, and tuberose, as well as patchouli, vetiver, and sandalwood. Longevity isn't too high, and the sillage isn't too noticeable either, but overall it doesn't spoil the impression. All in all, a pretty good choice for those looking for something warm and comfortable

This fragrance left a bitter aftertaste. The name, as if torn from the pages of an old book, 'White Immortelle,' hints at something fleeting. It certainly has a lot of white flowers, especially tuberose. But it's not as sweet and cloying as many other tuberose fragrances. The dry notes of immortelle and vetiver add a certain strictness, as if binding it. Without them, the composition would be typical for a tuberose and jasmine combo. This dryness strips the white flowers of all their sensuality and languor, leaving only a cold trail

This fragrance truly creates an atmosphere of comfort and warmth. Spicy notes with a light sweetness give it a special allure. Immortelle is clearly at the forefront here, while citrus, white flowers, and earthy patchouli add interesting accents. Vetiver sounds very soft, creating a harmonious blend. Pure bliss! 🌼

What a wonderful and natural scent! It's perfect for cold weather, so light and unobtrusive. At some point, you start catching yourself thinking: 'Where is this pleasant aroma coming from?' 🌸

The scents from this brand that I've had the chance to try left a bit of a sad feeling. There's some kind of natural softness in them, like cream, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is. Maybe it's Jérôme Epinette's style, like in Bal d'Afrique from Byredo. But what really gets me is the unusual combination of immortelle, citruses with their bitterness, and white flowers. The base is interesting too - spicy-earthy, sandalwood, vetiver, and patchouli create an atmosphere you just want to dive into. The longevity, though, isn't super high, the sillage is beautiful but close to the skin 😔

Citrus notes, bright but quickly fade away. Jasmine adds a touch of softness, and patchouli seems to try and hide all that lightness. The composition looks beautiful, but it lacks depth. Longevity is disappointing, more like an eau de toilette than something more significant )
