Boadicea the Victorious Immortal Fragrance

Boadicea the Victorious Immortal is a unisex composition released in 2010. It is part of The Classic Collection by the British brand Boadicea the Victorious.

This fragrance belongs to the oriental and floral families, is available in eau de parfum concentration, and has a very strong sillage.

This composition was created by perfumer John Stephen, who captured the spirit of luxury and immortality in Immortal.

Boadicea the Victorious is a legendary British niche house inspired by a warrior queen, and Immortal is a worthy representative of its classic line, combining strength and elegance.

The fragrance unfolds as a true unisex scent: it performs equally impressively on both female and male skin, instilling a sense of confidence and sophistication.

Thanks to its powerful sillage, Immortal is perfect for evening outings and special occasions, leaving an unforgettable trail.

Description of the composition

The fragrance pyramid of Immortal is built on the contrast between freshness and warmth. The top notes—aldehydes, bergamot, and a citrus accord—create a sparkling, invigorating opening.

At the heart, Damask rose, rose, and rosehip bloom, lending a rich, velvety floral accord.

The base is composed of sandalwood and oud, giving the composition a deep woody character with a hint of resinous sweetness.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is cold and tart, with bright notes of sour citrus. In my opinion, it's totally unisex. It smells simple, but that's its charm. It's great for everyday wear, but sometimes it's worth adding a little more 🍋
