In 2012, the British niche house Boadicea the Victorious introduced Elite, a fragrance that became part of the legendary Black Collection.

The Elite composition is a true work of art. The top notes greet you with the freshness of a citrus accord, delicate freesia, and a green accord.

The heart unfolds with a spicy bouquet of cinnamon and cloves, resinous copaiba balsam, floral notes of geranium, jasmine, lavender, neroli, and rose, along with green ivy and tart red wine.

The base adds depth with amber, birch, guaiac wood, patchouli, sweet raspberry, sandalwood, and musk.

The scent is just wild and heavy, like something from the 90s. There are so many spices here it makes your head spin, and plenty of flowers too, no less sweetness. Definitely not suitable for everyday wear, it might just suffocate you in a normal setting 😤 The longevity, of course, is impressive, but that doesn't save the situation
