Luxury and Seduction: Discovering Boadicea the Victorious Rouge Temptation

Introducing Rouge Temptation, a women’s fragrance released in 2015 by the British niche brand Boadicea the Victorious.

This eau de parfum is part of the exclusive Ruby Collection, dedicated to royal luxury and precious gemstones.

The composition was created by renowned perfumer Christian Provenzano, who captured true femininity and passion in this fragrance.

Olfactory Pyramid and Character

Rouge Temptation belongs to the floral family, though its character is far more multifaceted. The opening notes offer the sweet juiciness of peach, like the first bite of ripe fruit.

At its heart, an exquisite bouquet of regal rose and sensual jasmine unfolds, evoking a luxurious garden in full bloom.

The base is a warm embrace of benzoin, delicate vanilla, and clean musk, leaving behind a soft, enveloping trail.

Wearability and Mood

This fragrance is for confident women who are not afraid to embrace their sensuality.

Thanks to its moderate sillage, Rouge Temptation is perfect for romantic dates, evening occasions, or days when you want to surround yourself with an atmosphere of luxury and tenderness.

Feminine yet never overpowering, it will become your secret weapon of seduction.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The fragrance is, without a doubt, sweet and quite pleasant, especially for those who adore vanilla and peaches. But here's the strange thing: when I tested it blind, it reminded me of Montale Sweet Vanilla. Later, I decided to check it on different wrists, and honestly, I didn't notice any difference! Exactly the same, note for note! At a price of 32-34 thousand for a hundred ml, it smells exactly like Montale for 5-6 thousand for a hundred ml :) This Montale vanillin is simply unmistakable. If there's no difference, why overpay? ;) P.S: In Rouge Temptation, a light note of indolic jasmine sometimes slips through, but that doesn't make it better, as you understand. Indole, in general, isn't for everyone!!!

The fragrance is truly impressive. It sounds powerful and confident. The peach here is like it's just been picked from a tree in a luxurious garden. Rich, velvety, it resembles sweet honey that is carefully tested for authenticity. Overall, everything about it is wonderful, but the price — that's a huge drawback 😒

Boadicea, for me, is just a pretentious and expensive brand. The first fragrance I tried was too intrusive and loud, but this one is more in my spirit and mood. Peach and vanilla notes are clearly audible here, but I wouldn't say it's a huge wow 😒

A fragrance that doesn't cause difficulties, yet possesses amazing cuteness. Here, rose intertwines with a sweet peach accent. It's feminine, innocent, and incredibly gentle, drawing you in. It sounds classic, but there's its own TWIST in it
