Fragrance information:

In 2019, Bruno Acampora introduced Relight My Fire — a fragrance that's hard to forget. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the animals, east, and floral families. Perfumer Miguel Matos poured every ounce of mastery into this one. The fragrance belongs to the green, musk, and fairy groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of floral, citrus, whiteflower, and balsamic can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. Part of the Acampora 54 collection, available as oil-based perfume.

The sillage is moderate — present, but never overpowering. The longevity of this fragrance is moderate — exactly what most occasions call for. Country of origin — Italy. Relight My Fire Bruno Acampora unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The composition of Relight My Fire is shaped as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Bruno Acampora is evident from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a inspiring floral mood: Aldehydes, Animalistic notes, Bergamot, Coriander, Fir Resin, Galbanum and Geranium.

The inner phases are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Citrus and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Musc, Wood, Leather and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Balsamic, Citrus, Fairy and Floral. The palette also extends to Green, Musk, Whiteflower and Animals.

Overall Relight My Fire sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance, in my opinion, is a completely unsuccessful example of modern perfumery. Expensive, arrogant, but too much is mixed into it. The author, who seems to have just decided he could be a perfumer, has industry connections, but that doesn't make his creation better. Galbanum, coriander, jasmine - all of it sounds tempting, but in the end, something strange comes out. Aldehydes and animalic notes are clearly superfluous here. At first, the scent is too intrusive, but fortunately, it doesn't linger long. Longevity and sillage leave much to be desired, and in the end, there's a sharp resinousness. Women should better stay away from this fragrance 😔
