Fragrance information:

The house of Bruno Acampora gifted the world with Robin in 2019. A unisex fragrance rooted in the east and floral families. Perfumer Miguel Matos poured every ounce of mastery into this one. The fragrance belongs to the spicy, green, and wood groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of musk, fairy, fruit, gourmet, whiteflower, and balsamic can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. Robin — proudly part of the Acampora 54 collection. The fragrance is presented as oil-based perfume.

It carries a moderate sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. In terms of longevity, it sits at moderate — long enough to make a real impression. Made in Italy. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Robin unfolds as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Bruno Acampora comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Oil-based perfume emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a creamy-floral mood: Aldehydes, Almond, Anise, Black currant leaf, Cherry, Coconut and Frankincense.

The inner phases are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which gives the structure continuity.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Fruit, Musc, Wood and Powdery enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Balsamic, Fairy, Fruit and Gourmet. It also reaches into Green, Musk, Spicy and Whiteflower.

Overall Robin sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

What nonsense, not a perfume! First I put it on a blotter, then on my skin, and, damn, the sample smells like someone salted fish and fried rubber. This is definitely not unisex, and I wouldn't even recommend it to men; let the author enjoy this "fragrance" themselves. After half an hour, luckily, the smell subsides a bit, and licorice, ylang (poor flowers, they got unlucky here), tobacco, almond, jasmine, and frankincense start to emerge, but there's clearly too much aldehyde. Interestingly, this "beauty" doesn't last long on the skin, and thank goodness for that
