About Bruno Acampora Volubilis

In 2013, the Italian niche house Bruno Acampora introduced Volubilis—a fragrance that instantly won the hearts of rose connoisseurs.

This unisex perfume oil belongs to the oriental floral family and is part of the iconic Pure Essence collection.

Its pronounced trail and multifaceted character have made it a true legend.

Volubilis unfolds through contrasts: spicy pink pepper and fresh bergamot create an invigorating opening, softened by powdery iris.

At its heart reigns a luxurious rose—the star of the composition—embraced by the warmth of amber and the sweetness of vanilla.

An unexpected touch of peppermint adds freshness and dynamism, preventing the fragrance from becoming overly heavy. Base notes of patchouli and musk ensure lasting power and a sensual trail.

This fragrance is a true ode to rose, but with character. It suits both women and men who are not afraid of bold choices.

Thanks to its oil concentration, Volubilis lasts for a long time on the skin and wears intimately, revealing new facets with every passing hour. Ideal for cool weather and evening outings.

Description of the composition

The Volubilis composition is built around a rich bouquet of notes: sparkling bergamot and pink pepper create a spicy opening, followed by a lush rose framed by powdery iris and earthy patchouli.

The base envelops with the warmth of amber, the sweetness of vanilla, and sensual musk, while an unexpected touch of peppermint adds coolness and contrast.

All the notes intertwine into a single, multifaceted symphony.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

At first, the fragrance seemed spicy and green to me, with bright mint in the foreground. But after an hour, I suddenly noticed how the iris unfolded — it turned out to be surprisingly beautiful, without any unpleasant notes. It has a light powderiness and a touch of sweetness. The scent isn't loud, but I can't say it's quiet either. It projects in such a way that it's impossible not to notice it!! Overall, it leaves a deep, melancholic impression
