Iris powder, so delicate, like a light mist, covers a musky base. Jasmine and benzoin seem to dance in this fragrance, but there's something bitter in it. A salty aftertaste, which seems to come from ambergris, leaves an unpleasant sensation

Often, large collections are discussed too generally, and as a result, the most interesting fragrances go unnoticed. For example, Nylaia is something unusual, as if you're looking at it through the prism of something cosmic. The lunar iris, which changes its shades from pink to golden, is truly mesmerizing. In the world of high perfumery, this is an amazing phenomenon, but whether I like it or not - I can't say yet 🤔

With Nylaia, a novelty has arrived in the world of sweet iris fragrances. Iris-vanilla-amber, which has become almost a classic, is now enriched with the unexpected freshness of sweet carrot, and a musky accord adds depth to balsamic benzoin caramel. The result is an interesting oriental composition with European notes, but I can't figure out if I like it 🤔 The perfumer skillfully balances between powdery lightness and sweet density, and even in the finale, where iris continues to sound with musk, no imbalance is felt. This scent just knocks you out! The floral notes of iris and jasmine are there, of course, but they don't save the situation. The musk is too intrusive, and the amber doesn't refresh at all, it just chokes you. Vanilla with benzoin is just overkill, like someone decided to make a sweet cocktail and forgot about moderation 😤
