Introduction to Byredo Pulp

Released in 2008, Byredo Pulp is a unisex fragrance that instantly captivated perfume enthusiasts with its juiciness and brightness.

As a perfume water, it offers a rich and long-lasting composition, ideal for those who appreciate depth and emotion in fragrances.

This release became a true discovery in the world of niche perfumery, combining a modern approach and classical elegance.

Philosophy and Creator

The founder of Byredo, Ben Gorham, being a former professional basketball player and artist, brought a unique approach to the brand where perfumery becomes art.

Pulp reflects this philosophy, combining memories of ripe fruits and blooming gardens, creating a multifaceted experience.

His creative vision turned this fragrance into a symbol of freshness and naturalness, enhancing Byredo's reputation as an innovative house.

Positioning and Practicality

The fragrance is classified as unisex, making it a universal choice for any gender, perfect for shared use.

Its middle trail provides a noticeable but not intrusive presence, suitable for daily wear and special occasions.

For optimal effect, point application on the skin and 1 to 2 sprays on clothing are recommended, which emphasize the fruity notes and prolong longevity, especially in warm seasons.

Character and Note Foundation

Pulp belongs to floral and fruity families, with notes from groups citrus, floral, fruity, spicy, sweet, white floral, and woody.

This combination creates a juicy, almost tropical bouquet that unfolds gradually, from a fresh start to a warm base, making it recognizable and complimentary.

Similar Fragrances for Inspiration

If you liked Pulp, be sure to try Tiziana Terenzi Vele, Floraïku One Umbrella for Two, and Le Labo Thé Noir 29 — these fragrances share fruity or floral accents, offering alternative interpretations of similar themes for further exploration of your preferences.

Conclusion

Byredo Pulp is more than just a perfume; it's an emotional journey into the world of ripe fruits and flowers.

With its universal character and balanced composition, it will be a great addition to any collection, especially in warm weather.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Byredo Pulp begins with a bright top accord: bergamot adds citrus freshness, black currant brings berry juiciness, and cardamom provides spicy warmth.

In the heart of the composition, fig with its sweet flesh, tiare with creamy floral notes, and red apple unfold, enhancing the fruity character.

The base consists of cedar with woody resilience, peach blossom with delicate floral hues, and praline, which adds sweet completeness, creating a harmonious and memorable sillage, perfectly balanced for long wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Why the hell read negative reviews about a perfume that just didn't suit a specific person? That's just nonsense! A scent develops differently on everyone, and if your nose reacted differently, that's no reason to trash it and call it synthetic. This fragrance is definitely worth the money, it's just amazing and vibrant! For those who aren't afraid to stand out and be bold. Longevity? Oh, it's just effing amazing, the scent lasts all day! This perfume is an explosion of emotions and good mood, even if you didn't have one. You put it on and it's like you're soaring in the heavens, but only if it suits you. Many are obsessed with Tom Ford, but honestly, besides the fashion, there's nothing special there. No delight at all, though maybe it's just not for me. Pulp - I definitely recommend this! An amazing scent for those who make every day a celebration

This fragrance is simply AMAZING! It's almost impossible to find anything like it. It's so rich and deep that no other perfume can compete with it. I've never encountered such vibrant and memorable scents

A fragrance that smells like freshly squeezed tropical fruit juice. There's mango, papaya, citrus, and pineapple with carambola. But these fleshy stems with leaves that they added slightly spoil the picture. Instead of the usual apples and blackcurrants, it turned into some kind of tropical cocktail, and the fig reminds me more of foliage than fruit. Overall, the scent is really juicy. It's probably for the best that I can't smell it after five hours, otherwise it might just get tiresome

An unbelievable amount of fruit! The tree is just covered in them, all so sunny and ripe. But the praline, luckily, isn't noticeable. Otherwise, it would be too sweet, and everything would just stick together!

What a freaking scent! A real juicy fruit bomb. It's so intense, it's best not to overdo the application. Otherwise, you'll just get tired of this fruity sweetness. It feels like juice is literally pouring out of the fruits

What an amazing scent! You can clearly feel the sweetness and fruitiness here, especially the fig and plum notes are just stunning. Vanilla adds a special twist, and in the end, it's a really interesting perfume 🌟

On me, this perfume reminds me of a ripe fruit basket, full of various sweet fruits. The scent is very natural, no chemical feel at all. Longevity is simply excellent, the sillage is pleasing too. It really loves warmth

What a wonderful fragrance! It just fills the air with exotic fruits and flowers. A true feast for the senses! So bright and joyful, it's impossible not to smile. Longevity is excellent, and the sillage is simply captivating. It develops especially well in summer

This fragrance is just amazing! Fell in love from the first drop, it unfolds perfectly on me, no tricks. So girly, vibrant and long-lasting, leaves a gorgeous sillage. Yummy and juicy, just pure bliss! 😍

This fragrance is just a gem for a vacation! It's so fruity and cheerful, I can't help but adore it. The summer season gets brighter with it, and trips are filled with a special vibe. And, of course, the chance to lounge in bed a little longer - that's just pure bliss! I really love it for exactly that

The fig note really stands out here. It's fruity and green, with bright floral touches. It's something FRESH and unusual, really makes you think. It has its own unique charm that draws you in. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, this perfume is definitely worth a try

The fragrance opens with bright herbaceous notes, then fruits join in: red apple and fig. It's just incredible how juicy and sweet they are, without any artificiality! It feels like you're holding a piece of this magnificence in your hands, and the juice is just dripping. The tartness of blackcurrant and woody notes of cedar prevent the scent from becoming too cloying. It's long-lasting and leaves a trail. It reveals itself best in cool weather, though it's also good in warm weather 🍏

What the hell, it's just fermented jam! "Doubtful, but okay" - oh please, that's just nonsense. I get that people can have their own opinions, but honestly, I wish those kinds of fans would just stay away from me. This scent really stands out from everything else the brand makes, and damn, it's just too weird

The green notes are simply stunning! It's so bright, you could even say it's screaming. Over time, it calms down a bit, and against that backdrop, I start to pick up fig. The scent is really rich and lively. Although I'm not a fig fan, if I were, I'd definitely want to try it in different variations
