Fragrance information:

Mentha Religiosa Roos & Roos / Dear Rose arrived in 2016 — and it was immediately clear this one was here to stay. A feminine fragrance from the aromatic and floral families. The fragrance was crafted by perfumers Alexandra Roos, Chantal Roos, and Fabrice Pellegrin. The fragrance belongs to the aromatic, citrus, and floral groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of musk can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. A fragrance from the Collection Exclusive collection, in eau de parfum.

It has a delicate sillage, staying close and personal. Apply 2-3 sprays to skin and 3-4 sprays to fabric for best results. Longevity is moderate — not too much, not too little, just right. Country of origin — France. Mentha Religiosa Roos & Roos / Dear Rose — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Mentha Religiosa is built as an expressive line of development, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Roos & Roos / Dear Rose is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Musc without random overlap. Background accords such as Wood and Powdery expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a energetic fresh mood: Bergamot, Cedar, Frankincense, Iris, Musk, Peppermint and Petitgrain.

The inner phases are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Musk. The framework further includes Wood, Balsamic and Whiteflower.

Overall Mentha Religiosa holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is truly captivating, it's so unique. It unfolds very interestingly, creating a special atmosphere. It's something unusual that makes you think ))

It's kind of strange, to be honest. It smells somewhat clean and fresh, but its sweetness is so moderate that you don't know what to think. Something is bothering me, but I can't figure out what exactly. Cumin? No, it's not here. I don't detect mint either, or frankincense. In short, I can't break it down into notes. One source says there's heliotrope, and that I can believe, because fragrances with that note just put me off. I don't recommend buying it without testing. I can't compare it to anything, I just don't understand what this smell is

The scent didn't surprise me, the intrigue is already in the name, but it lacks playfulness and brightness. There's a noticeable minty accent, like in essential oils, and a bit of incense. The pyramid isn't very successful, it didn't become my favorite 😕

A scent that, like a deceptive mirage, makes you ponder many things. It can be both a gentle whisper and a fiery scream. At times it envelops you in cold, and at others, it warms you like an old blanket. Citrus notes with mint are replaced by spicy accents, creating a sense of constant uncertainty. There's something unsettling in this fragrance that makes the heart beat faster
