Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Mentha Religiosa is built as an expressive line of development, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Roos & Roos / Dear Rose is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Musc without random overlap. Background accords such as Wood and Powdery expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a energetic fresh mood: Bergamot, Cedar, Frankincense, Iris, Musk, Peppermint and Petitgrain.

The inner phases are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The scent is truly captivating, it's so unique. It unfolds very interestingly, creating a special atmosphere. It's something unusual that makes you think ))

It's kind of strange, to be honest. It smells somewhat clean and fresh, but its sweetness is so moderate that you don't know what to think. Something is bothering me, but I can't figure out what exactly. Cumin? No, it's not here. I don't detect mint either, or frankincense. In short, I can't break it down into notes. One source says there's heliotrope, and that I can believe, because fragrances with that note just put me off. I don't recommend buying it without testing. I can't compare it to anything, I just don't understand what this smell is

The scent didn't surprise me, the intrigue is already in the name, but it lacks playfulness and brightness. There's a noticeable minty accent, like in essential oils, and a bit of incense. The pyramid isn't very successful, it didn't become my favorite 😕
