Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Smoke And Mirrors is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Roos & Roos / Dear Rose is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Musc and Wood expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

As soon as the fragrance opens you catch refreshing herbal opening notes: Aromatic accord and Osmanthus.

In the heart you sense Honey, Myrrh, Tobacco and Tonka bean holding a praline-sweet direction.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Aromatic, Floral, Sweet and Balsamic. The framework further includes Wood, Spicy, Musk and Gourmet.

Overall Smoke And Mirrors holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced in wear.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The perfume is more reminiscent of a men's fragrance, but I don't see any reason to deny myself a little mischief. From the first seconds, I get the impression that I'm in a sauna, and someone has added aromatic oils to the stones. Myrrh, tobacco, and cedar create a very realistic smoky sensation that lingers close to the skin for a long time. Honey and amber didn't manifest on me, there's no sweetness in the fragrance 😏

The fragrance is, of course, declared as unisex, but in my opinion, it would definitely unfold better on a man. Cedar, tobacco, and myrrh are clearly not for women. To be honest, I would only use it in cold weather and only in small amounts. Overall, it's not impressive
