Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Oud Rosewood is built as an expressive line of development, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of Dior is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Fruit, Animals, Wood and Gourmet. At family level the scent maps to East and Wood.

In the top tier you detect vibrant berry first notes: Quince and Raspberry. These 2 notes shape playful berry energy that anchors the first impression immediately.

In the middle phase you sense Animalistic notes and Sandalwood holding a sensual animalic direction. At drydown level the line is anchored through Oud and Rosewood, reinforcing a deep woody trail.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Animalistic, Fruit and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Overall Oud Rosewood sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The name with “Rose” might be misleading, but it's actually not here. Instead, there's oud, raspberry, and rosewood. Lots of woody notes, and just a touch of animality. If we're talking about a wild and natural scent, then this description fits perfectly )

According to the description, the fragrance looks quite tempting: quince, raspberry, oud, and sandalwood. But, honestly, I don't know what it's really like. I hope it won't disappoint when it becomes available
