Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Areté evolves as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Gritti comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Musc and Wood without random overlap. Additional accords such as Amber, Leather, Spicy and Alcoholic add depth to the backdrop. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect spicy sparkling first notes: Bergamot, Cardamom, Cinnamon and Labdanum.

In the middle phase you detect Leather accord and Whisky keeping a soft suede direction.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Balsamic and Leather. The framework further includes Drinks, Ambery, Wood and Gourmet. From a family perspective the scent maps to Leather.

Taken together Areté sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.

The fragrance is really interesting. It's spicy, soft, and a little tart, as if it just came out of a warm, sunny day. In the autumn cold, it can become a true warming friend. As it develops, woody notes with spices are felt, which combine perfectly with each other 🤔
