Released in 2012, this perfume has become a gem in the Bronze Goddess collection by the legendary brand Estée Lauder, embodying the spirit of carefree summer and bronze tan.

Its creation marks an era when fragrances became not just an accessory, but a source of inspiration for everyday luxury.

Positioning and Character

This feminine fragrance, presented as a fragrant mist, is perfect for warm days and relaxed gatherings, offering a sense of freshness and coziness.

With a medium trail, it leaves behind a delicate yet memorable trace, without overwhelming the space.

Its belonging to the Floral and Oriental families makes it a versatile choice for daytime outings and evening events, where lightness and depth are important.

Application Practice and Dosage

To unlock all the magic of Bronze Goddess Capri, it is recommended to apply pointwise on skin in pulse zones, such as wrists and neck, allowing the notes to harmoniously interact with body heat.

For a more lasting effect, try entering the cloud by spraying the fragrance on clothing — this creates an aura of tenderness that will accompany you all day.

Such dosage is ideal for maintaining the balance between freshness and longevity.

Perfumer and Creative Approach

Behind the magic of this fragrance is the talented Harry Fremont, a master perfumer known for his ability to create accessible and emotional compositions.

His work on Bronze Goddess Capri reflects the pursuit of Estée Lauder for innovation in mass perfumery, strengthening the brand's reputation as a pioneer in creating fragrances for everyday luxury.

Fremont skillfully combined notes to convey the feeling of a Mediterranean vacation, making this perfume a true bestseller in its line.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Bronze Goddess Capri begins with a sparkling mandarin in the top notes, which gives an instant burst of freshness and citrus joy.

In the heart of the composition, a delicate bouquet of jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, and peony unfolds, creating a floral harmony that evokes sunny fields.

The base notes, including warm amber, sweet vanilla, and sensual musk, add depth and longevity, enveloping the skin in a cozy trail.

This combination belongs to the citrus, white flower, amber, and gourmand groups, making the fragrance multifaceted and memorable.

Unfolding from a bright start to a soft base, it perfectly captures the transition from day to night, leaving behind a trail of summer warmth.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

powdery, sweet, but at the same time too intrusive. even if you apply just a tiny bit, you'll still feel like you're being suffocated. the bottle, of course, is pretty, but that doesn't save the situation. the fragrance leaves no room for mystery, it just pressures your brain

The scent is simply amazing, so bright and warm. Its tenderness and allure are simply captivating. I can't pinpoint the notes exactly, but it smells magnificent ✨

The scent reminds me of the warmth coming from well-groomed skin, as if it just spent time in the sun. At first, it's very cozy and soft, as if truly warmed by the rays. Gradually, light floral notes start to appear, a bit of bitterness, and the sweetness of an overripe tangerine. It's beautiful, but I won't be able to wear it because I have a clear image in my head of the girl who perfectly suits this fragrance, and I'm not her 😔

This fragrance smells absolutely gorgeous with tanned skin. If you add a bit of sea salt, it's the perfect combination. But as an everyday option, it's not quite suitable. I don't know why, but floral notes seem to bypass me; after mandarin, musk and amber immediately appear. The fragrance is truly relaxing. Once I sprayed it in the office, and all day my thoughts drifted off to distant sea horizons)

How much I love these Bronze Goddesses! A fragrance that transports you to the beach, the sea, and the sun. Sand, the smell of sunscreens, palms, and southern plants - all this creates a vacation atmosphere. I'm sure that even in winter it will be no less wonderful than in the summer heat. Sweet, with notes of coconut and amber, it fills the soul with happiness

Quite unexpectedly, I stumbled upon this fragrance, and it's just great! It reminds me of the freshness of well-groomed skin, with a slight hint of expensive self-tanner. It's perfect for now, but in my opinion, it's more of a summer option - the mood just calls for it! 🌞

The bitterness at the beginning didn't impress me at all. I prefer when a fragrance starts with a soft sweetness or bright citrus, to make it cheerful. This perfume, by the way, is quite natural; I don't detect any chemicals. But the bitter notes simply kill all the pleasure

The pyramid looks appealing, but alas, after a couple of hours, I detect some chemical note. It reminds me of the unpleasant feeling after a tanning bed session. In cold weather, the fragrance becomes sharp and prickly. Maybe I'm doing something wrong with its application

This perfume is just awful! The smell is somehow unnatural, reminds me of soap, and all the components in it absolutely don't blend. Good thing it's not too strong, so that's the only plus. I don't feel any floral notes at all, but musk and amber are just screaming at full blast. You definitely can't wear it to work - it's terribly distracting, doesn't let you concentrate. Overall, this fragrance is clearly for those who like something specific and only for leisure

A summer scent that leaves a sad aftertaste. Capri Bronze Goddess is vanilla with light citrus and coconut notes. For daytime use, it seems too intense, so I preferred it for evening walks by the sea. In warm weather, when a fresh breeze blows, it seems to envelop and attract, but there's something melancholic about it
