Identity and Release History

Introducing Estée Lauder Brasil Dream — a fragrance that transports you to sunny Brazil from the very first spray.

Released in 2008, this perfume became part of the Dream collection, embodying dreams of a tropical paradise.

The brand Estée Lauder, founded by Josephine Esther Mentzer, is known as a living American legend, and Brasil Dream reflects its DNA — elegance, accessibility, and a pursuit of beauty.

This is a perfume water created especially for women, perfect for those seeking a light and refreshing accent.

Its subtly perceptible trail makes the fragrance a delicate companion for the entire day, without overwhelming those around.

Authors and Influence

Behind the magic of Brasil Dream lies the talented perfumer Olivia Giacobetti, known for her ability to create airy and natural compositions.

Her work on this fragrance added lightness and fruity freshness, characteristic of her style.

Brasil Dream strengthened Estée Lauder's reputation as a brand that knows how to blend classic with contemporary trends, offering fragrances for everyday luxury.

Positioning and Wearability

Brasil Dream is positioned as a female fragrance, but its universal fruity-floral harmony may appeal to those who enjoy light unisex notes.

With its subtly perceptible trail, it is ideal for the office, dates, or summer walks — not aggressive, but memorable.

The fragrance belongs to the floral and fruity families, making it a vibrant choice for the warm season.

Description of the composition

The Brasil Dream note pyramid is a true tropical journey: in the top notes, you're greeted by juicy guava, delicate neroli, sweet orange, floral orange blossom (fleur d'orange) and exotic pineapple, creating a burst of freshness.

In the heart, citrus chords of bergamot and lemon unfold, intertwining with luxurious gardenia and jasmine for floral depth.

The base wraps in warm notes of coconut, earthy patchouli and gentle sandalwood, adding longevity and coziness.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

An exotic cocktail that just explodes with bright fruity notes. Sweet, ripe fruits create an incredibly pleasant smell. This is a scent that's perfect for summer, filling you with sunny emotions

This fragrance is a complete disappointment. Summer, yes, but more in the sense that you want to throw it in the trash. Fruits? They're so bland here that you don't even want to smell them. The juice is orange, but it smells like it's spoiled. Flowers? They just get in the way here, no creamy dessert is felt. It's only memorable because it makes you want to get rid of it as soon as possible

This scent is just cloying, too sweet, and even a bit heavy for my taste. I love sweets, but this is overkill. Coconut, some tropical fruits, and bubblegum - it all blends into one sticky mess. On the skin, it feels like it solidifies, and that's not very pleasant 😒

I can't quite pinpoint the notes, but this scent simply captivated me after testing it on my skin - it smelled incredible. I love perfumes that don't require effort to appreciate. Its sillage is powerful, but not too long - half a meter at most… as if it envelops you in a cloud. One spray is definitely enough for the full effect ✨

Oh, I'm absolutely thrilled with this fragrance! It's simply stunning - so rich and sweet, Dream truly captivates! Bright tropical fruits combined with flowers create an incredible bouquet, and patchouli adds depth, sometimes coconut peeks through. This is a summer, vibrant scent that's completely unlike all those overused sweet-fruity options. For me, it's associated with vacation, the sea, and the sun! )
