Identity and History of Pleasures Intense: Introducing Estée Lauder Pleasures Intense, a perfume that since its launch in 2002 has become a cult addition to the famous Pleasures collection.

This fragrance, created under the aegis of the legendary house Estée Lauder, reflects the spirit of founder Josephine Esther Mentzer, bringing elegance and depth to the world of perfumery, characteristic of the American beauty icon.

Pleasures Intense is an enhanced interpretation of the original Pleasures, designed for those seeking a richer and longer-lasting floral note.

In Russia, it is known as "Pleasures Intense," and its release in the early 2000s marked a new stage in the development of the collection, offering brand enthusiasts intense emotions and sophistication, making it desirable for fragrance connoisseurs with character.

Character and Development of the Fragrance: The fragrance belongs to the Floral family but is enriched with notes from the groups Fruity, White Floral, Floral, Balsamic, Woody, and Gourmand, creating a multifaceted composition.

At the start, you will feel bright chords that smoothly transition into a delicate heart, and the base provides warmth and stability, making Pleasures Intense ideal for those who appreciate the evolution of the fragrance on the skin throughout the day.

This perfume unfolds gradually, offering a rich sensory experience where each note plays its role in creating a harmonious whole.

Read more about the notes in the composition description below to delve deeper into the olfactory journey.

Positioning and Usage Recommendations: Pleasures Intense is classified as a Women's fragrance, but its versatility allows it to be worn in various situations—from daily outings to special events, making it a complementary and recognizable choice.

The fragrance trail is rated as Medium, ensuring a noticeable but not overwhelming presence, perfect for creating an elegant image.

For optimal application, it is recommended 2 to 3 sprays on the skin and 1 to 2 sprays on clothing.

The concentration of Eau de Parfum guarantees longevity and intensity, distinguishing it from other versions in the collection with its rich note.

If you liked Pleasures Intense, it's worth paying attention to other fragrances from the collection: Estée Lauder Pleasures, Estée Lauder Pleasures Bloom, and Estée Lauder Pleasures Delight.

Each of them offers unique nuances, expanding the palette of floral impressions and helping to find the perfect fragrance for any mood.

Impact and Legacy in the Perfume World: The release of Pleasures Intense in 2002 strengthened Estée Lauder's position in the perfume market, presenting a deeper and more emotional version of the popular fragrance.

This release reflects the brand's commitment to innovation while maintaining dedication to quality and elegance, characteristic of Estée Lauder's DNA and influencing its reputation as a pioneer in the beauty industry.

Although information about specific perfumers for this fragrance is not specified, its creation is inspired by the heritage of the house, which since 1946 has set trends in the world of perfumery.

Pleasures Intense continues to inspire fans worldwide, remaining a relevant choice for those seeking intense floral compositions with a modern touch.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

There are just tons of flowers here. Imagine a huge bouquet lying on wet grass after a rain that fell on a cold autumn night. This scent gives me a feeling of sadness and longing. But in a certain mood, it can indeed seem very beautiful 🌧️

This fragrance is really not simple. It's vibrant and has character, it has its own signature. Be careful, it might play a trick on you. I don't recommend teasing it. It's better to be tactful and moderate in your dealings with it. Then it definitely won't disappoint you

Despite its political correctness, I wouldn't recommend buying it without testing. The scent unfolds completely differently on every skin. On me, it smells quite masculine 😲

Blackcurrant with lily, in my opinion, isn't a very successful combination. The fragrance turned out quite unusual and capricious in its development 😕

This scent blew my mind! I wasn't going to try it, but I was drawn. Miniatures appeared in Letu - I couldn't resist. And I was right: it's great. Without a doubt good

The scent of a dacha and greenhouses, with blackcurrant growing, and lilies, and other flowers with heavy pollen. For me, this is pure nostalgia - like I'm back in my childhood at the dacha, where I spent so much time 🌼

Sounds somehow more fruity, lily of the valley and lilac have lost their freshness and dampness. Dark berries and roses clearly dominate here. But suddenly, for a moment, lilac appears, so rich and deep. This version, honestly, is very different from the original

Autumn - that's when it's really good. On warm days I wouldn't risk wearing it, it's just too cloying and heavy! The flowers here aren't just in a bouquet, but also in texture, and there's plenty of sweetness. Lilac and white flowers on this sweet base

I tried to get along with this fragrance, but, alas, it didn't work out. Maybe there's some note hidden in the opening or the base that just pisses me off. But, despite that, I won't bash it too hard, because perfumery is such a subjective thing

What a wonderful floral fragrance! It's so rich and voluminous, you just can't help but fall in love with it. The sillage leaves behind a feeling of nobility and femininity. A true feast for the senses! )

My friend had this perfume, and I just adored its scent! But I didn't dare to get it for myself, because peony isn't my favorite. It has such a beautiful sillage, floral, with a light woody accent and a pleasant blackcurrant tartness. True femininity

This fragrance, in my opinion, is totally associated with spring… it's perfect for March 8th. Every time I wear it, I get so many genuine compliments. It's like it just attracts the attention of smart, beautiful, and well-mannered women))) There you go! 🌸

I bought Pleasures Intense with high expectations, hoping it would be as great as the original. And honestly, for many, including me, it sparks real delight, it feels like you can't find anything better. But then, after half a bottle, that delight somehow vanished. Some cloying sweetness and an insistent vanilla lily appeared, and now I don't wear it 😕

This scent is definitely heavier than the classic, and the lilies here are just way too much. Like, seriously too much! Even though I adore lilies, here they somehow get tiring with their sameness. Sillage and longevity, as always, are top-notch - a solid five 🌸
