Description of the composition

The composition Azuree (2019) begins its journey with a refreshing top note, where Basil, Citrus Accord (citruses), and Jasmine create a bright and invigorating prelude.

In the heart of the fragrance, delicate notes of Rose unfold, intertwining with the earthy depth of Vetiver and the bitter freshness of Wormwood (Artemisia), adding complexity and emotion.

The base wraps with warm and sensual accents of Amber, complemented by the earthy tones of Oakmoss and rich Patchouli, ensuring longevity and a harmonious finish.

This pyramid of notes smoothly evolves on the skin, from the first minutes of freshness to a deep and cozy completion, making each stage of development memorable.

This masterful combination demonstrates how classic elements can sound modern and captivating.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Oh, wormwood, you say? Something new, huh? Interesting, of course, but is it really that captivating? I want to try this new release, but I haven't come across it yet!!!

The bottle, of course, looks quite simple. Even strange, as if it's something mass-produced. But, in the end, the main thing is the content. And the pyramid really catches the eye

When EL released Beautiful Belle, everyone was thrilled, but quickly forgot about it. Soon an updated version of Love and many other fragrances hit the market. Now we have Beyond Paradise and Azuree, which were once popular but can no longer be found. 'Why is this needed?' - the question arises. The answer is simple: Estée Lauder's main audience isn't youth, but those who remember Beyond Paradise and even Azuree. To keep their interest, it's sometimes worth bringing back such fragrances, especially if they are easily recognizable. Beyond Paradise features hyacinths and bright jasmine, while Azuree has wormwood and mosses that evoke the 90s. That's not bad, right? And for the youth, there's Le Labo and By Kilian

With Estee Lauder fragrances, things haven't been smooth for me so far; many of them seem too intrusive. But the new fragrance interests me, especially I want to know how wormwood manifests here. I like it in Burberry, so it will be curious to see if Estee Lauder can surprise and take first place
