Description of the composition

The composition of Nuit D'Ete evolves as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Joop! comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Fruit, Wood and Aromatic. The framework further includes Floral, Sweet, Whiteflower and Ambery.

From the first breath you meet radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot, Fruit note, Lemon and Rosewood.

In the middle phase you sense Clove, Heliotrope, Honey, Iris, Jasmine and Lily of the Valley carrying a velvety rose-iris direction.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Gourmet with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Floral, Fruit, Musc and Wood expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In wear duration Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

What nonsense! The fragrance that used to be amazing has just disappeared! Nothing even comes close, and they haven't come up with a replacement! So what, am I just supposed to suffer without a decent perfume now! 😤
