Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The tea leaf leaves a strange aftertaste, and the citruses seem to explode, creating an invigorating effect against the woody notes. It sounds simple, but there's something alluring and high-quality about it. I can't quite figure out if I like it or not 🤔

The fragrance is truly energizing. I feel the freshness of citrus, a bit of tart tea, and light spicy notes 🍃

This fragrance will definitely appeal to those who adore the smells of oranges and their blossoms 🍊 The main notes are bright orange and fresh zest, and there's also a slight bitterness, reminiscent of herbaceous citrus leaf nuances ☀️ Maybe it's black tea? It smells very clean and light, perfect for a summer mood! 🌼

The fragrance is simply amazing! A true composition is created around bitter orange, and ripe orange adds brightness to it. Bigarade is a tree with history, brought to southern France by the Crusaders. The fragrance is fresh, with a slight tartness and tenderness, and the bitterness gives it an interesting nuance. Warmth is conveyed by smoky Ceylon tea, which, by the way, grows in Sri Lanka and has many flavors and aromas. This smoky note is simply captivating! As a child, I also loved peeling oranges and drying the peels on the stove 🍊, and then brewing tea with them. Every time I use this perfume, I remember that wonderful taste and aroma. After the citrus tea party, a light aftertaste of jasmine remains in a cloud of vanilla. It smells natural and calm, with smooth transitions - simply perfect! This fragrance is suitable for any time of year or day, whether it's a casual stroll or an important day. Wear anything - from a t-shirt to a wedding dress, it will always be with you. I feel it long after application, and it's a real pleasure. It should be in your collection! I'm sure you'll be thrilled with ORANGES BIGARADES!

The Bigarade fragrance with orange notes is truly impressive. With it, I felt the freshness of this fruit for the first time. It gives a joyful, sunny mood, like a summer day 🍊

The name speaks for itself, and I was already bracing myself for another interpretation of bitter orange, like in Frédéric Malle's Bigarade Concentree, but as it turns out, it was in vain. The scent of bitter orange essential oil - that sweetish, slightly aldehydic, sparkling moment - appears at the beginning for only a few seconds, and then disappears as if it never existed. All that remains is a bitterish, green, slightly soapy nuance of neroli, and then orange blossom. But the orange blossom in Oranges Bigarades looks pale and even somewhat lifeless, devoid of depth and radiance.

Before us is an almost classic citrus cologne structure, but all its brightness is minimized, the fragrance too quickly loses its individuality. Citrus fragrances are by nature very volatile, and longevity is what they are often criticized for, without understanding that they simply cannot be otherwise. At some point, the tannic, woody, leathery, and slightly astringent scent of black tea overshadows the other notes, but even it is not too expressive, although you can latch onto it. The finale signifies only a soapy smell from the tea and musk.

Can the fragrance be called a failure? Yes, if viewed from the perspective of modern consumer standards, where longevity and sillage are important. And no, if you need a light, unobtrusive fragrance that you can liberally apply in the morning and refresh throughout the day without fear of disturbing anyone. The first few minutes of Oranges Bigarades are a joyful and light sensation. It surrounds the wearer with a sparkling aura of pale yellow-green color, but then settles close to the skin, and to catch anything other than soapy musk, you need to make an effort. There, in the depth, you can find black tea and orange blossom, but the effort is unlikely to justify the result. The final notes should have been made brighter, especially since it
