The year 2017 gave us L'Ame Perdue Le Galion. This is a unisex fragrance rooted in the spicy, east, and floral families. Rodrigo Flores-Roux — the creative mind behind this fragrance. The fragrance is presented as eau de parfum.
Made in France, backed by a long and proud tradition. L'Ame Perdue Le Galion unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.
The fragrance is very long-lasting, staying on the skin for 12 hours or more, gradually revealing its notes
The scent will linger in the air even after its wearer has left.
The perfume has a rich aroma that will help you stand out from the crowd and create a memorable image
A rich and elegant fragrance that gently unfolds on the skin and lasts most of the day, leaving a delicate trail
Perfumes for the fall and winter seasons often contain notes of vanilla, spices, ambergris, wood, and other warm accords, creating a feeling of comfort and warmth during the cold months
The olfactory structure of L'Ame Perdue evolves as an expressive line of development, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Le Galion comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.
In the top tier you catch cardamom-peppery top notes: Cardamom, Coriander, Datura and Lemon. Exactly these 4 notes form piquant dynamism that is impossible to miss.
In the central layer you sense Cinnamon, Clove, Heather, Iris, Jasmine Sambac and Lily holding a velvety rose-iris direction.
The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Fruit, Wood, Powdery and Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background.
From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Spicy, Floral, Citrus and Wood. The palette also extends to Whiteflower, Fruit, Ambery and Balsamic.
Overall L'Ame Perdue holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best understood in wear.

A person, wandering through an endless garden in search of a single flower they've never seen, involuntarily creates its image in their mind. Expectations may not match reality, but when you don't know what you're looking for, it's the only way not to give up. The same applies to fragrance. The scent of an unknown flower can only be imagined based on life experience. And the definition of «beautiful» is always subjective. Didn't the perfumer strive to gather elements in one fragrance that correspond to his idea of beauty? At the heart of the bouquet are white flowers with a pronounced «narcotic» aroma: white lilies, sweet jasmine, somber narcissus, and even lily of the valley with their quiet chime. But it managed without tuberoses and gardenias. The white flowers are framed by the fruity softness of ripe ylang, and the classic profile of the composition creates the illusion of a carnation flower.
But floral bouquets no longer surprise anyone. The multi-layered oriental accord of spices, amber, and resins gives L’Âme Perdue movement and meaning, enlivening the «still life of flowers in a vase.» Carnation here is not just a flower, but also a spice. A drop of cinnamon adds sweetness and connects with oakmoss in the base. Nicolas Chabot said that coriander and pepper dominate at the beginning of the fragrance, but I don't detect them among the bright citruses. Although, from experience, ingredients may not have a pronounced aroma - they are often used as modifiers. Sweet threads of benzoin stretch from the depths of the composition
