Identity and History of M.INT No Coward

The fragrance M.INT No Coward, released in 2016, is a bold statement by the Italian niche brand M.INT, founded by the couple Serge and Helen Mintz in 2012 with the philosophy that perfumery is the art of evoking deep emotions.

Their motto "That Which Triggers Emotion" is reflected in this unisex perfume, which is part of the Azure Collection, a collection symbolizing freedom and depth, like the sea's azure.

The name No Coward, which translates to "Not a Coward," already promises confidence and emotional strength, perfectly matching the brand's DNA, which strives for innovation in niche perfumery.

Positioning and Character of the Fragrance

This perfume is classified as unisex, making it a universal choice for men and women seeking a fragrance that highlights individuality without gender boundaries.

In the form of eau de parfum, it offers balanced longevity and a medium trail, ideal for daily wear—from business meetings to evening events.

The fragrance belongs to the Floral and Oriental families, combining the tenderness of flowers with warm oriental accents.

It is perfect for the autumn-winter season, when its vanilla-musk base creates a cozy and seductive aura, but thanks to citrus notes at the start, it can also refresh in warmer days, making it versatile and adaptive.

Creators and Creation Philosophy

Behind No Coward is the talented perfumer Daniel Visentin, known for his ability to embody complex emotions in aromatic compositions.

His work on this perfume demonstrates masterful blending of floral and woody notes, reflecting M.INT's pursuit of creating unique, emotionally charged perfumes, strengthening the brand's reputation as an innovator in the niche industry.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The fragrance pyramid of No Coward begins with a bright explosion of amyl salicylate, which gives a floral-green hue, combined with juicy mandarin and noble palisander (rosewood), creating a refreshing yet warm start that perfectly conveys energy and confidence.

In the heart of the composition, delicate floral notes and passionate rose unfold, adding romance and depth, smoothly transitioning to the base and creating an emotional contrast between the freshness of the start and the warm heart.

The base of the fragrance is built on contrast: earthy papyrus and deep patchouli create stability and depth, while sweet vanilla and sensual musk envelop the skin with a warm, seductive trail, concluding this emotional journey from boldness to cozy tenderness.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

How sad it is to realize that this fragrance, so delicate and restrained, is almost imperceptible on me. It's slightly sweet, with a light powdery note, but alas, it's almost impossible to catch on the skin. Reading enthusiastic reviews about its sillage, you realize that everyone has their own perception, but to me, it seems too close to the skin, as if it disappears into nowhere 😔

Italian sound in perfumery is something special, and you can't argue with that 😊 Today, sifting through samples, I accidentally stumbled upon the Lisa Grand Merci fragrance, not even knowing the brand. It immediately attracted attention with its characteristic Italian sound, yet very refined and without excesses. Yes, the fragrance is not unique, rather secondary, but it definitely belongs to the luxury class. This is the kind of luxury that can be safely worn in decent society, and for that, it gets a plus 😊

The bottle doesn't match the contents. The fragrance is contradictory, surprising. At first vanilla-powdery rose with musk and citrus. Similar to Brocard Dark Delight, but that one is much sweeter. Mint is more floral, quickly opens into rose, not as serious as the bottle.

The fragrance surprised me, it's very similar to Fan di Fendi by Fendi. Citrus notes and rose are clearly traceable here, and patchouli is also present. It's something positive, but more in the spirit of cologne. A bright fruity chypre, not too many flowers, but that's exactly what's needed. The vanilla is very light, adding only a subtle sweet nuance 🍊

This perfume is just an explosion of emotions! Bright, with a feminine character and a sillage that won't leave anyone indifferent. The rose here is truly oily, but the carnation, which sounds so bright, isn't listed in the composition. It's not just a spice, but a real flower that adds an interesting accent. The fragrance has a few retro notes, which gives it a special charm. For me, it might be too loud, but those who adore expressive floral compositions, especially with rose, will definitely love it! It attracts attention and leaves an impression
