Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Avant-Garde is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of M. Micallef is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

In the top tier you detect sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot, Citrus accord and Grapefruit.

In the middle phase you detect Cocoa, Frankincense, Incense and Tobacco holding a resinous meditative direction.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Wood without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Amber, Leather and Oriental enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In longevity terms Low indicates a stable lasting impression.

The fragrance starts with bergamot and pink pepper, but that's just the beginning. The heart opens immediately, and then the scent of beeswax appears. It's a little sweetish, but not too much, its softness is palpable. Then tobacco takes the stage. It's not just tobacco, but pipe tobacco, unsmoked, and it's really expensive, though quite rich. Perhaps this is the best scent I've ever smelled. It's interesting how it sounds with the wax, it creates a special atmosphere. Honestly, I didn't even think I'd like it so much 😔

The fragrance is truly impressive, and I sincerely appreciate it. It's more suitable for a mature man than for a youngster in sneakers. Such a perfume requires a certain style, a true gentleman. By the way, besides the notes listed in the pyramid, I clearly detect nutmeg. It's so rich, like it's freshly ground
