The olfactory structure of The Exception No.1 is shaped as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of M. Micallef is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Citrus, Spicy, Wood and Balsamic. The palette also extends to Gourmet.

From the first breath you catch radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Bergamot, Bitter Orange and Grapefruit. Exactly these 3 notes set sunny vitality that is impossible to miss.

At the core of development you detect Black Pepper, Cedar and Vetiver carrying a spicy-woody direction. In what remains on skin the line is anchored through Benzoin and Cocoa, extending a thick resinous trail.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Wood and Spicy with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.
