Fragrance information:

The year 2001 gave us Perspective Woman Mexx. By character, a feminine fragrance drawing from the east, floral, and fruit families. Perfumer Jacques Huclier is the author behind this composition. Part of the Perspective collection, available as eau de toilette.

It carries a moderate sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. This fragrance doesn't rush to leave — you can count on high longevity. Produced in the Netherlands, where perfumery has long been elevated to an art form. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Perspective Woman evolves as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Mexx comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette sets the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Citrus, Fruit, Floral and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Wood, Spicy and Gourmet.

In the first seconds you sense radiant lemon-bergamot first notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Peach and red apple.

In the heart you meet Freesia, Jasmine, Peony and Virginian Cedar carrying a opulent floral direction.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Wood and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration High points to a sustained drydown presence.

Taken together Perspective Woman sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This scent is stunning! Apples and vanilla dominate, peaches are shy. Overall warm and pleasant, but something doesn't let me rest

A fruity-vanilla dessert - that's certainly something. The scent, yes, it's delicious, but the longevity leaves much to be desired. It smells nice, but it's not enough. It feels like something is missing, and that feeling lingers

This fragrance is just a nightmare. Powdery floral notes seem too intrusive and unnatural. For a company that mostly deals with clothes, it's not bad, of course, but I expected more. In warmth, it opens up, but not in a good way, rather like something cloying. Mexx, of course, releases its fragrances under collections, but that doesn't make them better. Limited editions? Who needs them when there are so many other, more worthy options? 😒

The fragrance is simply excellent, it has become my favorite among the entire Mexx collection. It smells sweet, but not in the usual way, and definitely not like compote. Over time, a light floral powder unfolds on the skin, which I really like. This delicate composition won't irritate even in the office. It's a shame it's hard to get now. 🌸
