XX Very Nice Mexx arrived in 2009 — and it was immediately clear this one was here to stay. A feminine fragrance from the floral and fruit families. The fragrance belongs to the citrus, floral, and fruit groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of musk, spicy, whiteflower, and wood can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. Description of the composition

The note pyramid of XX Very Nice evolves as a layered story, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Mexx is clear from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musk. It also reaches into Spicy, Whiteflower and Wood.

Right at the start you sense juicy fruity first notes: Bergamot, Blackcurrant and Melon.

In the middle phase you sense Apricot, Cinnamon, Lily of the Valley, Pear and Peony holding a soft nectarous direction.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The scent reminds me of a chemical cocktail. Quite frivolous. I smell melon and berries, but it's too cloying and artificial. The fragrance disappointed me 😔

The scent is too artificial. At first, it seems not bad: blackcurrant is noticeable, pear-melon notes are also there, but it smells more like a cleaning product. The musk leaves an unpleasant soapy aftertaste

Oh, there's so much going on in this fragrance, it just makes my head spin! Everything is somehow too muddled, not even muddled, just crammed in. I don't know how it unfolds on others, but on me, it's some kind of intrusive sweetness, reminiscent of dried melon, and something that slightly resembles cinnamon, but not natural, more like from an aromatic candle. I didn't even like it seven years ago, and now it's just chaos ))))

This scent didn't really develop well on me. The smell is okay, of course, but there's something cheap about it, reminiscent of new items from China. On one hand, it's pleasant, but the overall feeling isn't the best!! Maybe I should try it in warm weather, in case there's something wrong with my perception. Friends say it's light and summery, but I have a different opinion for now

Right after applying, the smell is just awful, so cloyingly sweet it stings your nose. But if you spray it on clothes first and let them hang, after a while the scent becomes fresher and even pleasant. In the end, I'm happy with the purchase, but the first impression leaves much to be desired
