Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

This fragrance starts with some intrusive freshness, as if a cold wind hits your face. Cedar is clearly in the foreground here, and then some sweetish floral notes appear, which press on your ears with their powderiness. Amber adds its cloying sweetness, but that doesn't save the situation. The femininity of this fragrance simply screams, but it's so restrained that it's even boring. Men definitely don't feel comfortable in this scent, it's clearly not for them 😒

I decided to take a risk and order this fragrance blindly, and, you know, I didn't regret it! It turned out even better than I expected from the reviews. Ambroxan here doesn't dominate as much as I thought. The scent is very subtle, enveloping with warmth, yet remaining soft and elegant. Despite the lack of brutality, I can imagine it on a man - it's a true unisex in the best sense. And, fortunately, there's nothing masculine about it, and as a big opponent of masculine scents on women, I immediately sense that.<br><br>At first, it's simply magnificent: green notes and bergamot create a sparkling breath of freshness that pairs perfectly with the warm character of the fragrance. Throughout its wear, I mostly perceive amber - it's like a smoldering ember, against which orchid, iris, and osmanthus gradually unfold. These flowers don't separate from each other, but create a unified floral sensation. Ormond Jayne perfumes are always cohesive, they don't break down into notes, and that's also part of their style. Therefore, I perceive this fragrance as something holistic.<br><br>When it dries down to the base, the floral notes become less noticeable, and only a subtle warming amber with light resinous accents remains, perhaps a combination of patchouli with tonka. The sillage is modest, but the longevity is pleasing - 7-8 hours
