Description of the composition

The composition of Evernia is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Ormonde Jayne is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Earthy / Mossy, Floral, Musk and Spicy. The framework further includes Citrus, Fruit, Whiteflower and Wood.

From the first breath you meet cardamom-peppery first notes: Bergamot, Blackcurrant, Cardamom and Coriander.

In the middle phase you meet Freesia, Iris, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Rose and Violet holding a harmonious floral direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Musc, Wood, Powdery and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.
