Description of the composition

Pyramid and Development of the Composition

The note pyramid of Paco Rabanne Olympea Legend is a true art that begins with a bright start: top notes include juicy apricot, sweet plum, and refreshing sea salt, creating a fruity-mineral chord that instantly attracts attention.

As it develops, the heart of the fragrance opens with floral notes and exotic ginger flower, adding warmth and sophistication that smoothly transitions to the base.

In the base, deep and sensual chords await you: amber imparts velvetiness, sand adds mineral stability, and tonka bean and vanilla complete the composition with sweet spiciness and coziness.

This layered pyramid belongs to the ambery, floral, fruity, gourmand, mineral, and spicy groups, making the fragrance rich and multifaceted.

On the skin, it develops gradually: from fruity freshness to the floral heart, and finally to the warm amber base, leaving behind an unforgettable trail.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The fragrance pyramid doesn't match what I expected at all. For me, it's just sweetness and something marshmallowy. No sea salt, nothing that could diversify the impression

I have a complicated relationship with this perfume. The first time I tried it at L'Etoile, and honestly, I was thrilled! The scent turned out to be incredibly attractive even from the blotter. But time passed, and I suddenly felt it fill with salt. I decided to give it another chance a few days later. And again, how pleasant it is, even with that salt. Salt, after all, isn't that important when there's such a beautiful plum and tonka beans nearby. In the end, I bought it and now I'm just happy. Its longevity is amazing - it lasts up to a month on clothes, like all Paco Rabanne fragrances. I adore it!

This fragrance, honestly, is completely ordinary and unexpressive. No highlight, just a neutral scent that leaves no impression. In the office, maybe it's fine, but at the movies? Who even needs it? I put it on when I really don't want to think about what I'm wearing. Just to not stand out, that's all 😒

The fragrance is sweet, fruity. It's nice that there's no salt here. In other perfumes, it's too intrusive. Warmth and coziness are felt in this scent

This fragrance, sure, it sounds beautiful, but in reality, it's just overused and clichéd. No originality, just a crystal chime that quickly gets tiresome. Longevity? Yeah, but that doesn't save it from feeling like you're wearing something mundane. The quality, of course, is top-notch, but what's the point if there's no soul? Beauty doesn't save it here, just like Apollo's straight nose. I want something new, not this standard package

Unfortunately, this fragrance and I didn't work out. I tried to wear it, but all attempts failed. At first, the top notes seem so bright and appealing, but they quickly disappear from the skin, leaving something completely different behind. This sticky and suffocating combination of notes is simply unbearable. In the end, I gave it away to good hands)))

Where are the apricot and plum here? It's more like some vanilla pastries, too sweet. The scent just stuck to my watch strap; I can't get rid of it for weeks now. This intrusive sweetness really annoys me

Honestly, the notes really surprised me. From the whole list, I only caught tonka beans and vanilla))) But the scent itself somehow unexpectedly captivated me. It's so sweet and marshmallowy, just sugary, but at the same time quite pleasant. On a blotter, there's a bit of freshness, and on the skin, it becomes more intense. Images of desserts like marshmallows or zephyr come to mind 🍬

I tried this fragrance yesterday, and it's just awful! Sweet, like someone poured a bucket of jam, and it's unbearable. The liqueur note presses on your brain, but luckily, it's not as cloying as it could be. For winter, maybe it'll do, but only if you want something nasty to keep you warm. It's so thick it feels like I smeared honey on myself. And the salt? You can't even smell it, as if it wasn't there at all

Croissant with salted caramel. The scent is creamy, but too sweet. The salt note adds heaviness, and this feeling becomes intrusive. Plum clearly stands out, but in the end, all of this makes you tired. The 30 ml bottle remained unused, I didn't know where to wear it, the scent just became tiresome

My friend absolutely adores this scent, and I've gotten used to it, even though it's not entirely my cup of tea. In my opinion, it's sweet but not overly so, a bit heavy and syrupy. It's nothing like the classic Olympia, and I would definitely choose that one instead 🌸

The fragrance is too sweet, just like a candy. Vanilla and tonka beans overpower everything else. It's suffocating, feeling like you can't breathe. There's no sense of development, only the base notes are immediately noticeable, as if everything is on a loop 😒

If such fragrances appear from different brands, it means someone really needs them. But for me, it's too cloying and sweet. It's like a bunch of sugar and jam was poured into pie dough - the taste just gets lost, only sweetness remains. The situation is similar here. No fruits are felt, the cloying sweetness overpowers everything. You can only catch tonka beans, a little vanilla, and saltiness. I tried it out of curiosity, just in case I missed something. But no, I didn't miss anything 😅

This perfume is simply awful, sickeningly sweet and too intrusive. The gourmand notes here don't save it, they just annoy. Plum with caramel? That's just a nightmare! The vanilla undertone doesn't please either, it just adds to the cloying sweetness 😒

The scent, of course, is something, but it's not worth getting so excited about. Spicy, yes, but too intrusive. It wears easily, but that doesn't mean it's pleasant. Delicate? Doubtful. Delicious? Maybe for someone, but for me, it's rather overkill. A chic fragrance? I don't know, it seems to me that it's too much of an evening scent and only suitable for cold weather, when you want to wrap yourself up in something and hide from everything. In general, I wasn't impressed
