Description of the composition

The scent of Memory Motel evolves as an expressive line of development, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Une Nuit Nomade is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Floral, Balsamic and Leather. The framework further includes Earthy / Mossy, Wood and Gourmet. At family level the composition sits in Chypre and Wood.

As soon as the fragrance opens you meet invigorating sunny first note: Bergamot.

In the heart you meet Clove, Frankincense and Iris holding a harmonious floral direction.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Powdery, Leather and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

Overall Memory Motel sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best understood through real development.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

What a wonderful fragrance from Philippe Sol's travel collection! This is a true story where patchouli and hot chocolate with cream intertwine. But that's not all! You can also feel fresh, blooming carnations, long strips of dry tobacco, and rich vanilla pods here. The scent is reminiscent of the Memory Motel in Montauk, where Andy Warhol stayed, but rather of his villa by the ocean on Long Island, where musicians from The Velvet Underground and Rolling Stones gathered. And, of course, the sillage of this fragrance is light and unobtrusive, which adds a special charm to it.

All of this together creates an atmosphere as if Mick Jagger is hugging you in his prime. If this fragrance were a song, it would definitely be "Riders of the Storm" by Jim Morrison: despite complex notes like sharp carnation and rich patchouli, everything sounds smooth and almost glossy - like a glass of whiskey in a cozy bar where cover bands play. This fragrance is definitely not for introverts: be ready for questions about what you smell so good of

The fragrance is really interesting, one might say it's a successful example of "soft oriental." Despite the sharp alcoholic notes, it's quite easily perceived. Warm and rounded, yet not lacking character, thanks to roasted cocoa beans. For those who appreciate oriental fragrances with vanilla, clove, and chocolate, this is an excellent choice. Working with it is comfortable and understandable, which makes it appealing to lovers of this genre

There's plenty of sweetness here, and spices like pepper or clove add sharpness. Patchouli creates a rich and long-lasting scent that doesn't resemble classic perfumes. Unless your memories are tied to a dimly lit bar where cigars are smoked, whiskey or rum is drunk, heavy velvet curtains hang around, a jukebox plays, and an atmosphere of passion and vice lingers 🍷
