Today I decided to pop into the store during lunch to try all the fragrances. Honestly, three of them are almost indistinguishable from each other, and this version doesn't stand out like that bright bottle. It's kind of strange, I don't know what to think about it 🤔

This scent is just awful. It's too heavy, sweet, and oily, as if someone decided to douse themselves in a bucket of coconut oil under the scorching sun. No freshness at all, just a suffocating sweetness that overwhelms your mind. Gardenia and coconut - that's not a vacation, it's more like a nightmare. Vanilla cream only adds to the cloyingness, and it just gets worse. No brightness, just monotony and heaviness. I don't understand how anyone could love this

Simply amazing! This fragrance is definitely worth trying, it's so rich and opulent, with a light, cool pepper and deep oud. A true delight for the senses!!

Perhaps my bottle wasn't stored very well before it got to me, considering its age and number of owners. But, honestly, the fragrance didn't seem spoiled to me. As for the top notes, yes, they've probably evaporated. These are just my impressions, maybe someone else thinks so too, even though the fragrance is rare. At first, I smelled turpentine and rosin, and it immediately reminded me of my grandpa and his old plywood cabinet where he kept tools and repair materials. A few minutes later, when flowers were placed on the table, the sharpness of the turpentine scent mellowed a bit, although the wood resin remained, just became less noticeable. I endured it for another three or four hours, overcoming the urge to wash it all off, because I was waiting for the drydown. And I got it. It reminded me of "Pine" shampoo, if anyone remembers it. It's been lasting for an hour and a half now, though it's gotten significantly weaker, thank goodness. In the heart, it reminded me of Je reviens. Maybe my bottle didn't handle the journey well, but I waited for it for a month, if not more, even though it also initially smelled of rosin and turpentine. I blamed it on transportation. Overall, I'm puzzled, because the fragrance was so popular in its time (judging by advertising posters and publications on well-known sites) - so, it must have been loved for something? I can't rate this fragrance because, firstly, I consider it pointless - you can't please everyone. And secondly, perhaps the fragrance has spoiled, so I won't rate a vintage. P.S. Turns out you can't leave a review without a rating. Oh well, I'll give it a three, because I don't want to be disrespectful to a work of perfumery art by giving it a low score :)

This perfume is a true masterpiece of a chypre composition with an interesting gourmand accent that always delights with its presence 😍 The aldehydes here have a metallic, shimmering quality, creating a harmonious bouquet where powdery iris notes and a magnificent rose are organically woven in

The scent reminds me of expensive strawberry soap. As a perfume you'd want to wear, it, unfortunately, doesn't quite cut it. But for creating an atmosphere in a room - it'll do just fine :))))
