This fragrance from Hermes really sparks interest. It seems to envelop you with softness and lightness, yet at the same time leaves a sense of mystery. Violet and suede here create an amazing combination you want to dive into again and again 🌸 There's something warm about it, as if you're holding an old newspaper warmed by the sun. But the new Byredo Eyes Closed, although it has similar notes, seems much rougher. Clove and iris here sound sharp, even with the addition of Iso E Super, which makes it quite appealing. But if I had to choose, I would definitely stick with Hermes ✨
First time I tried it, I was disappointed. Too much pepper, and I could barely smell any honey. The milk might have been there, but it seemed diluted. I wanted something richer and creamier. But I didn't give up and kept coming back to this scent. Eventually, the pepper revealed itself in all its glory, played and sparkled, and then finally that long-awaited milky honey appeared. It turned out to be languid, but not sticky, very delicate and enveloping, like the tea with honey and milk my mom used to make when I was little and sick. Now, I guess I can say this fragrance suits me! The scent is truly worthy, delicate, sometimes it washes over me in waves, and I freeze, trying to savor it. Longevity, honestly, is average, sillage is light, but that's okay!!
