The fragrance didn't work. At all. I feel like summer and June with this perfume aren't for me. On my nose, it smells like some harsh soap. No honey, no frankincense in it! Opening the bottle, I didn't smell any of that. At first sniff, it reminded me of "Green Street" by Etro. I put it on my hand, and that was it! Horrible! I tried it again, but no miracle happened: it started to vaguely resemble Paloma Picasso. Not all chypres immediately suit me. Some need time. Okay, I'll wait. I think a second encounter with this fragrance will be in October-November. And yes, I remember Scythian Gold from childhood. I remember it very well - nope, no resemblance at all
So, here's what I can say. My nose is definitely trained, and I'm not afraid to buy perfumes blindly. This is already the second Montale scent in my collection. For the first few hours, it's clearly noticeable, but then, alas, it fades into the background. Something barely perceptible remains, only appearing with movement. In the heat, musk isn't really my friend. I think it's better to save it for warm autumn or early spring - maybe then it'll truly open up. But honestly, it's too quiet for me. It reminds me of Agent Provocateur Maitresse, not by notes, but by the overall feeling. The opening is like lemonade, but as soon as the bubbles disappear, the scent goes too. I expected something brighter, but despite that, I liked it - it's unobtrusive and pleasant. I got 20ml with a discount, so let it be!! P.S. IT'S JUST DIVINE!!! I applied it about 9 hours ago: at first, the musk was a bit annoying, the scent seemed like early autumn with flowers and soap. But then it sort of "settled" on the skin. In the base, I can feel a vanilla-powdery peach. I don't like raspberry, and I don't smell it here. There's almost no sillage, it stays close to the skin, but what I do smell makes me inhale again and again! In the base, it reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle or Rain Drops by Ajmal. Well, that's it! I LOVE ITTTTTTTT
I didn't understand how it smells, but I just fell in love with it. There's one "but": in the heat, it becomes too sweet and sticky. It's better to wear it in cool and cloudy weather. It feels similar to Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Eau de Parfum. And yes, there's a similarity to Chanel "Mademoiselle"
How wonderful it is! With a light hint of tobacco and a touch of sharpness. It's like an embrace, creating coziness, like when a loved one is near and it's winter outside. In such moments, you want something strong and. warmth
What a wonderful magnolia scent! It's like winter snow, fresh and pure. Very rich, bright, and with a stunning sillage that lasts a long time. Perfectly suited for those days when the snow starts to melt: late February and early March, when it's "frost and sun" outside! I'm simply in love with it! ❄️
I bought this fragrance! 😍 I wasn't scared by its unusualness, after all, I already have two fragrances from Thierry Mugler - the classic Angel and Alien. They are very bright and contrasting. They suit me perfectly, as there's something in them that resonates with my nature. Here, I feel a salty-fig contradiction. And yes, it smells a bit like blood, but it doesn't cause repulsion; on the contrary, it adds interest. I simply adore it! 💖
What a sweet fragrance! The coconut just sparkles, and the vanilla is so inviting. The longevity is simply impressive: I applied it at 9 AM, and it's already 1 AM, and I can still feel it, though it's faded a bit. It's like butter with coconut and vanillin, not regular vanilla. It reminds me of an inexpensive sunscreen lotion. For summer, one spray is enough, and everyone will think you just applied sun protection 😄 Although such a sweet scent would be great for New Year's holidays
