I first tried this fragrance, which tries to be like Chanel No. 5, about five years ago. Then again, and now once more. Honestly, everything is perceived differently with age, but fundamentally nothing has changed. These aldehydes are still not to my taste. But, you know, now I look at it differently. Before, it seemed heavy and too aldehydic, but now - gentle and refined, with a light floral hint on a luxurious, slightly vintage base. At the start, there's a cold citrusiness and ylang-ylang, which adds a bit of powderiness and unobtrusive sweetness. In the heart of the fragrance are rose and jasmine, but I don't smell them. Perhaps the rose is here to smooth things out, and the jasmine is replaced by something else, because I don't detect any indolic notes. In the base, the sweetness of vanilla remains, but it's not cloying, and sandalwood gives the feeling of velvety skin. Longevity - 7 out of 10, sillage - also 7 out of 10. The fragrance is declared as feminine, but I wouldn't mind seeing it on a man. Maybe that's how aldehydes influence it. Overall, it's a fragrance for special occasions, to feel like part of the fashion industry 😒

Among all Chanel fragrances, it was the first one that left me with a strong desire to buy it. This perfume is truly refined and exquisite. It's hard to pick out a specific note, but you can feel the freshness of aldehydes intertwined with a light soapy accent. The longevity on my cool skin is simply astonishing - even after a day, I could still feel its echoes. Now I want to add a small bottle to my collection to lift my spirits

I'm circling back to this fragrance again, and what can I say? On one hand, it sounds quite modern, without old-fashioned notes, but the aldehydes still make their presence known. Overall, not bad! It draws you in, doesn't let go, it really hooked me. Among the flowers, ylang-ylang and neroli are most noticeable, while rose is barely perceptible, somewhere in the background. If there was a miniature, I would definitely add it to my collection for the "No. 5" anniversary 😏

This No. 5 looks like they tried to adapt it to modern trends, so that young people might at least show some interest in the classic. Serious, with character, but ultimately just beautiful. No depth, just an outer shell. Not impressive, to be honest)))

This ylang, of course, looks beautiful, but something's off about it. It's become too simple, as if it's been cleaned until it shines, and now it resembles a sterile ward. Where's that zest and beauty that were in the old version? It's just sad. I loved the aggressiveness and brightness in it that made it special. Now it's just some faceless thing )

I was looking for something more affordable instead of Chanel's Jersey, and stumbled upon an interesting option in the base of the Premiere No. 5. I bought a full-size bottle, and all associations with the original simply vanished. The fragrance definitely has its pros, but unfortunately, there's almost no similarity to Jersey 😅

This is my choice for more mature years, it's truly chic, but right now it doesn't suit me, or rather, I'm not ready for it myself. This version, unlike many others, didn't give off horrible soapy aldehydes on me!! On me, the fragrance opened with a delicate, slightly sweet ylang and sandalwood. Very soft and feminine

Lemon slices sprinkled with sugar, and a sprig of ylang-ylang nearby - it's simply stunning! 😍 No grandma's powder and no unnecessary aldehydes. For me, this is the perfect version of No. 5. L'Eau seems colder and more detached, and in the column, there's powder like in Insolence, just tons of it. In the base, you can smell cheap toilet soap. This version is a hundred percent hit compared to them!

I think I just got lost in this version. The scent is sharp, but the neroli note is simply captivating! It unfolds on the skin, and right away I smell tangerines!! It's just a miracle! The sillage is magical, and the longevity is excellent 🍊

This is, of course, a sweeter and less harsh version of No. 5. Honestly, I can't decide yet if I like it or not. Maybe I just haven't grown into it. Overall, it's worth considering, but I wouldn't call it light and everyday. It has something formal about it, more for the colder seasons. And yes, on me it turns into a soapy base again, like many other Chanels. Beautiful, expensive soap, to be honest )

Even though I can't stand the classic No. 5, this version pleasantly surprised me. The aldehydes here are completely different, and it seems it's not just about their quantity. The fragrance evokes a true early spring, when a light fresh breeze brings with it delicate floral notes. There's a slight soapiness in the base, but it's so exquisite and pleasant that it creates a feeling of something expensive

The aldehydes here are soft, don't cause discomfort, and the citruses just sparkle! White flowers add tenderness, and this #5 version is suitable for any season and age. But for me, Eau Premiere is exclusively associated with spring - it's so young, bright, as if shimmering with all shades and aromas. I just adore this scent!!!

the scent has become more relevant than ever. it's like if classics, for example, Mozart or Beethoven, got a new life in electronic sound. it became a bit sweeter and more floral, but aldehydes are still present. perfect for early spring!
