I just returned from Crimea, where this Lenkoran acacia is blooming. Its scent is certainly delicate, but somehow too cloyingly sweet. In the fragrance, it seems they tried to convey this floral lightness, but in reality, everything feels heavy and oppressive. The fruity notes, which were supposed to add freshness, only make the situation worse. I don't know, maybe it's just not for me
Love Affair was given to me by one of my best friends for my birthday in 2012. I was born on September first, and of course, my first impressions coincided with golden autumn. Since then, I only wear it this time of year. This fragrance is strict and long-lasting for me; it stays on my skin for over eight hours and on my hair for more than a day. A rich white floral scent with a heliotrope-rose base. There's a distinct tobacco accent, but not like cigarettes or snuff, just the smell of a dried leaf; no associations with smoking. The base of Love Affair is also very pleasant, a soft musk with a light sandalwood smoke. This is the only fragrance in my small collection that strangers complimented me on in the street, in shops, and in queues. And now I'm very upset because the bottle is almost empty, and the new releases are not at all like before 😔 Love Affair has started smelling like a pharmacy. I'm not against balsamic fragrances, but in this specific case, it upsets me. Yes, I can say for sure: if someone finds this fragrance flat and not long-lasting, it simply didn't suit them. That's just how it is
If you draw a parallel between Baccarat Rouge and Suzanne, Spirito Fiorentino is not just a copy, but a completely different fragrance in the same vein. It has iodine, and honestly, there's even more of it here, and it smells quite aggressive. Cotton candy is also present, but throughout its wear, some kind of mineral accord is clearly audible. It's a rather unusual, long-lasting, and diffusive fragrance. If you liked Baccarat, especially its darker side, then this one is worth trying)))
Feels a bit chemical, but overall not bad. The champagne smell is definitely there, but it's not intrusive, rather light and transparent. The scent isn't overpowering, quite fresh.
Lavender isn't really my style, to be honest. I prefer sweet notes combined with it. But pure lavender makes me wary. Although the scent is really pleasant and would suit many, I don't see myself wearing it
Spicy tangerines - they're just something special. The warmth they give is like an embrace, and the sea breeze adds a touch of freshness. I wear it myself, and even my husband appreciated it, and my son suddenly started noticing. It seems I should buy more, so I don't run out of this fragrance 🥺
The ginger and bamboo here are cold, of course, but the magnolia flowers somehow feel out of place. That bitterness I smell doesn't really work for me. The spray sounds like someone tried to make it interesting, but it didn't quite turn out. Not impressive, to be honest)))
