I had never come across dry citrus before. At the opening there is neither juicy pulp nor oily peel - what I get is a dry, almost dusty citron and crushed kaffir lime leaf. There is a slight saltiness. Then a tenacious warm nagarmotha emerges, deepening the dry citrus facet, while saffron stays somewhere in the background and gives off a cool spicy glint. At some point the scent becomes very dense, but then the saffron retreats and labdanum and incense appear. There is more air, as if a sharp winter freshness had been let into a heated room. The scent develops gradually, but the notes are well connected, so the result is cohesive. A 2023 release, quite a niche story in terms of its contents, although the scent itself does not make a big deal of it. The packaging and bottle promise something completely different, so the contents feel a little out of step with the overall presentation. If you want an inexpensive option with unusual citrus notes and incense, it's worth trying. After this, I wanted to take a closer look at what else Julien Rasquinet creates
A lot of interesting stuff has been released under this brand, and this is already the second producer that can truly surprise. The Olsen sisters create excellent fragrances, and now that I've tried many of them, I can say that Kim isn't far behind either. This fragrance simply can't go unnoticed - it's bright and memorable. You can feel wormwood in it, as if it's drowning in floral-gourmand sweet cream. It might seem too intrusive, but that's just a matter of getting used to it. Overall, the fragrance is really beautiful and worth checking out
The scent is interesting, of course, but I wouldn't say I fell in love with it right away. It suited me unexpectedly well, I didn't even think it would be this good. I just bought it casually, without any particular expectations. In the end, pleasantly surprised! ))))
The rose here is bright and sweet, with an interesting spicy kick. Blackcurrant adds a jammy note, while tobacco, on the contrary, doesn't cause discomfort. Rather, it gives the fragrance a special charm and appeal. I really like this! This combination is truly amazing
The scent is truly appealing - for me, it was a real discovery. The musk is almost imperceptible, but it's precisely what gives it a special touch! I recommend trying it ))
How pleasant it is to encounter such an interesting composition again, reminiscent of the past! Sometimes it seems like they try to cram everything into fragrances, and it gets a bit overwhelming. Though, of course, there are exceptions that bring joy
I chose this fragrance as a birthday gift for myself, and it's simply amazing! Bright berries, sweet, with a slight tartness - it's not just a compote, it's something more, much more interesting and beautiful. Personally, I think cherry predominates in it)))
