I didn't expect the fragrance to be so calm and pleasant. At first it's fresh and slightly invigorating, then it becomes softer and a clean musky nuance appears.
The iris isn't the star here, it's hard to separate from the other flowers, it smells quiet and gradually fades into a powdery-woody base.
The composition is light, close to the skin and very easy to wear. You rarely come across such unobtrusive perfumery these days. Molinard still makes good fragrances without inflating the prices
This Narciso Rodriguez honestly surprised me. As others have said, iris and musk constantly stand out in fragrances from this line. In other perfumes, they're simply unbearable, starting to bother me and causing discomfort. It's incredibly frustrating, because on other people they sound so sexy, but on me - it's just a headache. But then I tried Narciso Rouge. It's powdery-lipsticky, with a playful sweetness. Yes, a bit viscous, but not as stuffy as others. After an hour, the sweetness becomes more apparent, the powderiness fades, but the lipstick note remains. Its sillage is moderate, longevity - about 3-4 hours, then you have to sniff closely. This fragrance retained that musky note that I liked before, but here it doesn't turn into a suffocating wateriness, instead remaining a light powdery cloud. An interesting scent, but not for every day - you want to wear it for something special. The bottle, by the way, is also cool - both the color and the internal design
This scent gives me mixed feelings. On the one hand, I really like it, and I've received many compliments. But then there were funny moments when people would turn around and say, "Ugh, what's that smell?" ))) Maybe I just applied it too generously, because the scent is really rich and dense, and the sillage is also impressive. But "ugh" is too much, this scent definitely doesn't deserve that kind of reaction! First, I feel the sweetness of pear in caramel, and then sour-bitter notes appear, which perfectly balance the sweetness. This makes the scent multifaceted and interesting, preventing it from becoming cloying. Although it's more suitable for cold weather, I wear it in summer too, but in small amounts, because this pear is just amazing! )
This scent didn't work for me. Too sharp and tart, like being stuck in a forest. I smell a lot of woody notes, anise oil, and ginger. I don't want to wear it, it's more for men, in my opinion 😅
Cocoa with orange zest, lightly powdered with vanilla - that's how I perceive it. In cold weather, especially autumn, it's perfect. Spicy notes of falling leaves intertwine with orange and dried fruits, and the cold air only enhances the sweetness of the chocolate emanating from you. It's cozy, but there's a certain bitterness to it. I'm waiting for spring, curious to see how this scent will unfold in the warmth )
The scent is truly interesting and quite complex. It's dense and bright, with a noticeable presence of oud and rose - which is already a classic, but here a lot of vanilla and saffron are added. The result is a hot-sweet combination, almost fiery. It seems there are more spices here, maybe even chili. The scent is bold, but for me, it's too heavy. Nevertheless, lovers of such compositions will definitely enjoy it
I just realized this is a men's perfume. I didn't notice it at all in the store, and the bottle was even among women's fragrances - someone clearly made a mistake. But my opinion of the scent itself hasn't changed, I still love it. DELIGHT!
