To the fragrance: Tom Ford Velvet Orchid

This scent always reminds me of men's shaving cream, and I also detect a bit of ginger. Where are the flowers, I wonder? On my skin, it smells sour and too chemical, quite sharp actually. I can't understand what's so appealing about it

To the fragrance: Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia Satin Edition

Armani seems to have decided to repeat Dior's approach of releasing a new fragrance every year 😄 But, generally speaking, the main thing is that the quality remains high. And, I must say, they're doing well with that. I smelled the fragrance all day and could catch mint, sweet lemon, and floral notes. The heart notes sound just as bright as the top ones. But as for the other components of the bouquet, alas, I can't smell them, no matter what. The scent is summery, with a pearlescent and iridescent hue. When you shake it, the glitter sparkles beautifully, but as far as I know, you shouldn't do that with fragrances, so I don't quite understand why they're needed there
