I'm really curious how some people are able to distinguish notes of rare flowers and trees in perfumery. It's clear that a rose is a rose, just like jasmine and vanilla, but does anyone really know what ebony wood smells like

Coty Vanilla Fields
In my youth, I had exactly this perfume. It's such an amazing, non-gourmand, bitter-woody vanilla. As if the wind brings from the fields the scent of milky-green ears of grain, embraced by the sweet-bitter pollen of meadow flowers. Tenderness and nobility are gathered in one bottle. Everyone loved them! 🌸

The musk is too intrusive, and the blackcurrant smells like it's from a cheap perfume, the synthetic notes just hit you in the nose. Even lemon can't save the situation. This scent is simply awful, I don't recommend it to anyone 😔

I've been circling around this fragrance for a long time. I've tried it in different ways, but the result is always the same: at first, it's truly impressive - fresh, sharp, cold, just gorgeous. But then in the drydown something unpleasant appears that ruins the whole impression. I can't get over it, and it just causes disappointment

The scent isn't bad, of course, but these peaches in a citrus fizz... At the start, it's really cheerful, like a cocktail at a party. But then, when it develops, it becomes kind of boring and transparent, floral, but not in a joyful way. I really liked the opening, of course, I almost finished the bottle because the first half hour is truly delightful. But then, alas, it all just fades into nothingness
