To the fragrance: Guerlain Shalimar

Shalimar is just a nightmare you could talk about endlessly 🤦‍♀️ Guerlain, of course, tried to create something outstanding, but what came out was just a bunch of unnecessary notes. I don't understand how anyone can love this scent. It's heavy, oppressive, and utterly unbearable. It's like someone decided to cram all the most unpleasant smells into a bottle. I have several versions, and each one only evokes disgust 🤢 Vintage, modern - they're all equally awful. Even if someone says the modern version is better, I won't agree. It doesn't compare to what they're making now. Shalimar is not a masterpiece, but rather a reminder of how not to create perfumes
