Alberto Morillas

Мастер-парфюмер

Biography and path to fame

Alberto Morillas is a name that has long been synonymous with success in the world of fragrances. Born in sunny Seville in 1950, he moved to Geneva in his youth, where his passion for scents took on a professional direction. Without completing his art degree, the young Morillas immersed himself in the study of perfumery and joined the legendary Firmenich company in 1970. It was there, under the wing of this industry giant, that the journey of one of the most commercially successful "noses" of our time began.

Iconic fragrances that changed the industry

His career is a series of bestsellers familiar to every perfume lover. Calvin Klein's iconic CK One revolutionized the world in 1994 by introducing the idea of a unisex fragrance. Equally iconic were the delicate Flower by Kenzo, the floral-fruity flagship Miracle by Lancôme, and the fresh, optimistic Pleasures by Estée Lauder. His portfolio includes dozens of hits, including the sensual Bright Crystal by Versace and the rebellious Good Girl Gone Bad by By Kilian.

Signature style and favorite brands

Alberto Morillas' style is often described as emotional, fresh, and incredibly harmonious. He masterfully works with accords of purity, floral bouquets, and transparent woody notes, creating fragrances that resonate with millions. This talent is in demand among both fashion giants and niche brands. He has created perfumes for Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Mugler, Givenchy, and even the affordable Zara.

His own brand and recognition

In 2013, Morillas received the prestigious Fragrance Foundation Award for his outstanding contribution to perfumery. But his ambitions did not stop there. Back in 1999, he founded the Mizensir line of home fragrances, and in 2013, he introduced the world to the niche perfume brand of the same name, Mizensir. It became his creative laboratory, where the master fully reveals his love for rare materials and complex compositions.

A living legend of perfumery

Alberto Morillas is a rare example of a perfumer whose work is equally adored by critics and the general public. His fragrances, whether the scandalous Tommy Hilfiger Tommy or the sophisticated Vanille 44 Paris by Le Labo, have remained in hearts and on dressing tables for decades. Today, he continues to create, remaining one of the most influential and prolific fragrance designers, whose legacy has already become an integral part of the history of perfumery.
