Identity and Release History

Dive into the world of Estée Lauder Infinite Sky, a women's fragrance that debuted in 2021 and immediately caught the attention of perfume connoisseurs.

This release is an Eau de Parfum, promising intense and long-lasting sillage on the skin.

Estée Lauder, a brand with a rich history founded by the legendary Estée Lauder, continues to surprise with its innovative creations, and Infinite Sky is a shining example of how traditions meet modernity.

The Estée Lauder brand is known for its pursuit of elegance and quality, and Infinite Sky reflects this DNA by offering a bold and memorable fragrance.

Released in an era when perfume trends lean towards unique combinations, this perfume fits perfectly into the brand's portfolio, demonstrating its ability to create emotional and complex compositions.

The lack of data on a specific collection only emphasizes its independence as a standalone masterpiece.

Positioning and Wearability

Infinite Sky is positioned as a women's fragrance, but its universal character may appeal to those seeking confident and warm notes.

It has a noticeable trail that will accompany you throughout the day, leaving a light but tangible trace.

For optimal application, it is recommended to use 1 to 2 sprays on clothing, which will ensure longevity without being overwhelming, although data on skin dosage is lacking, so experiment carefully.

This fragrance is ideal for cool seasons such as autumn and winter, thanks to its oriental and spicy accents that create a cozy and mysterious atmosphere.

It can be worn for evening events, dates, or simply to lift the mood in daily life, as it adds a touch of luxury and confidence.

The combination of strength and elegance makes Infinite Sky a complimentary and recognizable choice for those who appreciate depth in perfumery.

Inspiration and Composition

The composition of Infinite Sky is built on bold notes that intertwine into a single harmony, including Bourbon vanilla, leather accord, Sichuan pepper, and woody accord.

These elements are combined into groups: leather, spicy, and woody, creating a multi-layered and intriguing profile.

The fragrance unfolds gradually, starting with spicy sharpness and transitioning to a warm, enveloping base, making it dynamic and interesting for discussion.

The lack of data on perfumers does not diminish the craftsmanship invested in this release; it may be the result of the collective work of talented noses at the Estée Lauder brand, known for their attention to detail.

Infinite Sky reflects contemporary trends in perfumery, where blending unexpected notes leads to creating unique sensory experiences, and it can influence the perception of the brand as an innovative and bold player in the market.

Similar Fragrances for Exploration

If Infinite Sky has captured your heart, it's worth paying attention to other fragrances with similar characteristics.

For example, Abdul Samad Al Qurashi Jadayel Brown (Sultry Woody) offers rich woody and spicy notes, while Stradivarius N° 125 Wood combines wood with light accents.

For those who love journeys in fragrances, Mouson / J.G. Mouson & Co. Globetrotter presents an interesting alternative with global inspiration.

These recommendations will help expand your perfume collection and find new favorites.

For more information or purchase, you can visit this site, although it may not be an official Estée Lauder resource.

The lack of data on other concentrations or specific perfumers highlights the uniqueness of Infinite Sky as a separate release worth exploring and discussing in the perfume lover community.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Infinite Sky is a harmonious blend of chords, where bourbon vanilla adds sweet and creamy depth, leather chord imparts a bold and sophisticated character, Sichuan pepper introduces spicy sharpness and energy, and woody chord provides a stable and warm foundation.

These notes are not clearly divided into top, middle, and base notes, but rather intertwine, creating a holistic and dynamic composition that unfolds gradually on the skin.

The combination of spicy, leather, and woody elements makes the fragrance complex and multifaceted, ideal for those seeking more than just a perfume.

As a result, Infinite Sky offers a sensory journey where each note plays its role in creating a memorable and emotional impression.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. The fragrance turned out quite vague. It's something like spicy woody vanilla with a barely perceptible hint of hookah smoke. Basically, you could say it's versatile. It reminds me of a very diluted version of popular vanilla compositions

What an interesting name! The combination, of course, makes me a bit doubtful. This type of pepper makes me a little wary, as fragrances with it can sometimes be too balsamic and strange. But it's still curious, maybe I'll come across this scent someday. I'm not going to specifically look for it, but if I do, I'll definitely try it

Infinite Sky is a work by Dominique Ropion, and honestly, it didn't impress me. At first, the fragrance seems like a strange balm - fresh, green, and with spicy notes, but then vanilla starts to appear. The vanilla accord, composed of vanillin and absolute, adds sweetness, but it lacks depth.

Sometimes I think there's frankincense in it, but perhaps it's just labdanum, which gives it balsamic notes. Overall, the fragrance is too simple and unexpressive. Natural components, though high-quality, make it dull and deprive it of brightness. In the end, the only thing I felt was disappointment. I know Ropion can create amazing fragrances, but here, alas, it didn't happen. Technically everything is well done, but it's clearly not enough )

The fragrance "Metamorphosis" is truly something special in the collection. At first, it unfolds like old French perfumes from the 40s-50s, blending notes of many flowers, spices, and balm, all framed by sweet vanilla. I felt like I was on a tour of a perfume museum, where they talk about Coty, Guerlain, Chanel, and others. Perhaps this is how Estée Lauder perfumes would have smelled if they were created back then.

But after an hour, the fragrance starts to "youthify". The huge empress bouquet gradually disappears, and vanilla and oud come to the forefront, which reminds me of something not very pleasant, like the smell in the subway two years ago. The sound is modern, but without excesses. Oud doesn't sound as loud compared to Arabian counterparts and doesn't evoke associations with anything unpleasant. It's amazing! It's like grandma became a girl again! Although I usually don't wear such fragrances, this one attracts with its changeable character. I wonder how it will behave in the summer heat

The "Metamorphosis" fragrance is just a nightmare. At first, it seems like you're entering a museum of old perfumes, where all possible flowers and spices are mixed, but then the real torture begins. Vanilla with balsam, yes, it all sounds beautiful, but after an hour, everything changes. This huge bouquet starts to disappear, and oud comes to the forefront, smelling as if someone forgot to wash their clothes. It reminds me of the atmosphere of an abandoned subway, where it was unbearable two years ago. It sounds modern, but not in the way one would want. The oud isn't as loud as in Arab perfumes, but it still leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. It's just awful! It's like a grandmother suddenly became a girl, but not in a good way. Although I don't wear such fragrances, this one is interesting only because of its drastic changes. I wonder how it will behave in the summer heat 😒
