Welcome to the exciting world of Bendelirious from Etat Libre d'Orange, a French niche perfume house founded in 2006 by visionary Etienne de Swardt.
Released in 2008, this unisex fragrance, presented as perfume water, embodies the brand's bold philosophy, challenging traditions.
It harmoniously combines elements of floral and fruity families, creating a unique and memorable image.
Bendelirious is often described as a playful and provocative fragrance, perfect for those looking for something special.
Its name hints at a state of bliss and fun, reflected in the bright and optimistic character of the composition.
Since its release, it has won the love of niche perfume fans for its originality and emotional depth.
As a versatile unisex fragrance, Bendelirious suits bold and creative individuals, regardless of gender.
Its middle sillage ensures a balanced presence – noticeable enough to attract attention, but not overwhelming, making it ideal for the office, dates, or evening events.
As perfume water, it offers moderate longevity, gradually revealing its facets on the skin, so it is recommended to apply it to pulse points for better projection.
Thanks to its fruity-floral base, Bendelirious is excellent for spring and summer days, adding freshness and joy.
However, its warm base notes allow it to be worn in cooler seasons as well, creating a cozy and intimate feeling.
The creation of Bendelirious involved two outstanding perfumers: Antoine Lie, known for his subtle sense of balance, and Etienne de Swardt, the brand's founder and creative visionary.
Their collaboration brought a unique blend of playfulness and complexity to the fragrance, characteristic of Etat Libre d'Orange's DNA.
This release not only strengthened the brand's position as a pioneer in niche perfumery but also inspired many to experiment with scents.

As for Bendelirious, it's a fruity-musky scent, but understanding its notes is a real puzzle. Only after studying the composition pyramid can you catch sweet cherry, synthetic champagne, and suede, but all of this is very conditional. The musk clearly stands out here, but it resembles the smell of an expensive store with cosmetics, silk lingerie, and furs. The image of the woman created seems abstract and a bit outdated. If you like sweet musky scents with a hint of the past, you might find it interesting, but for me, it's simply unbearable 😒
The base of the fragrance is surprising: a combination of tenderness, mystery, and audacity creates an incredible sensation. The leather in this perfume is simply magnificent. It's soft, like well-treated leather, not rough like a biker's. The champagne note sounds beautiful, without any hangover feeling, and there's no acidity. The cherry is delightful - sweet, but not like jam, rather a fresh, juicy berry.
For me, this is an evening fragrance to wear out, not for staying at home or casual walks. A true boost of inspiration and good mood
