Description of the composition

The composition of Oliban is shaped as an expressive line of development, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Keiko Mecheri is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a architectural woody mood: Caramel, Frankincense, Grey Ambergris, Jasmine, Rose, Rosewood and Tobacco.

The heart and base are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet, Floral and Wood with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Sweet, Balsamic, Animals and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Floral, Wood, Spicy and Gourmet.

Honestly, I don't understand how this can be considered unisex. To me, this fragrance is clearly more suitable for men. Woody notes, pepper, tobacco, and leather - all this creates such a powerful cocktail that on a woman, it looks, to put it mildly, strange. In my opinion, it's inappropriate. Perhaps it might suit some biker chick or a girl who loves extreme sports. But overall, for an ordinary woman - it's a complete failure
