Fragrance information:

2010: the world took its first breath of Tarifa Keiko Mecheri. A unisex fragrance from the citrus and aromatic families. Perfumer Keiko Mecheri is the author behind this composition. One of the scents from the Citrus collection. The fragrance is presented as eau de parfum.

Expect a very delicate sillage: a quiet, intimate presence. It's quite fleeting: longevity is very low, so feel free to reapply generously. Brand country — the United States. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Tarifa unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Keiko Mecheri comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a glittering citrus mood: Ambergris, Calabrian bergamot, Orange blossom, Petitgrain and Spices.

The heart and base are felt as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Amber and Spicy without random overlap. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence Very low points to a sustained drydown presence.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Ambery, Citrus, Whiteflower and Spicy. The palette also extends to Aromatic.

In summary Tarifa holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Extremely low (up to 1 hour)
1
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Extremely inconspicuous
1
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

I ordered a sample, not knowing what to expect, but the scent pleasantly surprised me! First, you get bright, fresh citruses, so invigorating and not sweet. Then interesting tart spices unfold, and in the end, the fragrance becomes soft and powdery. It's definitely unisex, and I'd say it's perfect for summer! ))))
