M. Micallef Floral: floral classicism with fruity charm

M. Micallef Floral is a women's fragrance launched in 2002 in an eau de parfum concentration. It belongs to the floral and fruity fragrance families, creating a light, feminine mood.

From the very first seconds, it evokes a feeling of freshness and tenderness, while its pronounced sillage leaves a long-lasting, pleasant impression.

Brand history: art from Grasse

The M. Micallef house was founded in 1996 in Grasse, the capital of French perfumery.

Its founders, artist Martine Micallef and her husband Geoffrey Nejman, sought to erase the boundary between art and fragrance. To them, every bottle is a work of art worthy of a brush.

Floral became one of the gems of their collection, embodying a love for natural floral notes and refined simplicity.

Who it is for and how to wear it

This fragrance was created for women who value elegance and romance. It is ideal for everyday wear, while its noticeable sillage also makes it suitable for special occasions.

Thanks to its versatility, Floral can easily be layered with other fragrances or worn on its own—it always feels fresh and refined.

If you are looking for a fragrance that lifts your mood and highlights your femininity, this perfume is an excellent choice.

Comparison with similar fragrances

In character and mood, Floral is reminiscent of such well-known compositions as Yves Saint Laurent Blouse, Salvatore Ferragamo F by Ferragamo, and Burberry Wild Thistle.

They are all united by a floral focus and a soft, enveloping character.

However, Floral stands out for its distinctive transparency and subtle fruity nuance, which make it more playful and fresh.

Why you should try Floral

M. Micallef Floral is more than just a fragrance—it is a statement of femininity and good taste. Its harmonious composition, created in the finest traditions of Grasse, captivates from the very first breath.

If you love floral fragrances with character but without being overpowering, be sure to discover this perfume. It will become your faithful companion for every occasion.

Description of the composition

The fragrance pyramid opens with vibrant bergamot and galbanum—a fresh, slightly bitter opening. At its heart, a lush bouquet blooms: delicate rose, spicy geranium, and intoxicating jasmine.

The base combines enveloping white musk with a warm woody accord, creating a soft, long-lasting trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance is just sickly sweet, like someone decided to pour sweet syrup into the bottle. Honestly, I didn't like it. It's too overwhelming and unnatural
