The world first encountered Zizan by Ormonde Jayne in 2008. By character, a masculine fragrance drawing from the fern, citrus, and aromatic families. Geza Schoen and Linda Pilkington worked their magic — and the result speaks for itself. By character, it falls into the spicy, ambery, and wood groups. The composition of Zizan unfolds as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Ormonde Jayne comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Ambery, Aromatic, Citrus and Floral. It also reaches into Musk, Spicy, Whiteflower and Wood.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet sparkling citrus first notes: Bergamot, Juniper, Lemon and Lime.

At the core of development you sense Jasmine, Laurel and Violet carrying a silky white floral direction.

The scent left me with some mixed feelings. I can't say I liked it, but I can't say I disliked it either. It seems I need more time to understand it. It smells somewhat restrained and quiet, seemingly dignified and intelligent, but I want something brighter and louder 😒 Overall, not bad, but I didn't see anything new in perfumery. Yes, the quality is good, but overall it's quite ordinary. I'll check out what else the brand has, but I don't have a strong desire to continue getting to know it 😏

The fragrance is quite interesting, lemon notes with juniper create a pleasant first impression. But then a woody base appears, with amber and musk. I can't say it's something outstanding, but overall it's not bad. Most likely, it can be classified as unisex )
