Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Bourreau des Fleurs is built as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Serge Lutens is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Perfume extract emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a transparent aquatic mood: Charcoal, Dry Wood, Immortelle and Licorice. In this format 4 notes act as one voice, forming mineral transparency that reads as cohesive from the start.

The deeper layers are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Wood, Spicy and Mineral forming a compact and readable structure.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Mineral, Wood, Balsamic and Spicy. It also reaches into Floral and Whiteflower. Within olfactory families the fragrance belongs to Floral and Wood.

Overall Bourreau des Fleurs reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged through real development.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. This perfume really sparks interest. It's dry and distinctly tart, with woody notes and licorice. It's amazing how the tart sweetness intertwines with resins and a light campfire smoke!! This is something completely unconventional, though it might not appeal to everyone

This fragrance is just not for me, and that's very strange because I usually enjoy wearing even the heaviest scents. But here I only feel the bitterness of pills and some kind of coal. Coal might be interesting, but these pills just make me sick 😒
